Selangor Exco Member Sivalingam Dies Of Heart Failure In Chennai
NEW DELHI, April 4 (Bernama) -- Selangor State Executive Councillor Datuk K. Sivalingam died, Wednesday after collapsing at the Chennai Airport upon arriving from Malaysia.
Sivalingam, 59, who is also Ijok state assemblyman, is said to have died of a heart failure at 10.40am (India time) (1.10pm Malaysia time).
Chennai-based Malaysian High Commission official told Bernama Sivalingam arrived this morning and collapsed at the airport.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, the official said.
