Guan Eng Barking Up The Wrong Tree, Says Wee Ka Siong

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 (Bernama) -- "Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is "barking up the wrong tree" by forwarding an application to set up a branch campus of a Taiwanese university to me," said Deputy Education Minister Datuk Wee Ka Siong.
Wee said by right, the application should have been forwarded to the Higher Education Ministry.
However, he said the government had no problems working with any state which wanted to become an education hub but provided there were no political agendas.
"It was not right of Guan Eng to raise the matter with me when I was in Penang recently. However, I have no problems, if he so wishes, to bring him to meet Higher Education Ministry officials over the matter," he said when replying to questions from Yusmadi Yusoff (PKR-Balik Pulau) and Chong Eng (DAP-Bukit Mertajam) in the Dewan Rakyat Tuesday.
Yusmadi and Chong Eng had wanted to know if the federal government was willing to cooperate with the Penang government in making Balik Pulau on the island an education hub.
Meanwhile, to another question from Datuk Siringan Gubat (BN-Ranau), Wee said as of October this year, said the number of teachers from Peninsular Malaysia serving Sabah stood at 8,023 and 2,352 vice versa.

tunku : this shows how smart are these dap mps.they can even differentiate a ministry's role and yet wants to govern the country. as usual they always bark and bark and bark without any action.they are barking at their best as it is their expertise to always bark at the wrong trees and without facts.

DAP and MCA are all the same......Chinese Opera....!
One is barking inside the house whilst the other is doing the same outside.
Taiwanese Uni.....Taiwanese mind you!......and in Balik Pulau......Balik Pulau mind you!.....Singapore grand strategy is fast taking up shape.
Chinese chauvinism is growing rapidly in Penang......
For DAP and MCA being rascist is OK but not for other people.
Those who are not grateful for little will never be grafeful for much.

The Civil Servants in the Chief Minister's Office are the ones at fault. They are responsible to give the correct information to the government of the day.
