Umno Youth Will Use Courteous Approach When Debating Issues

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 (Bernama) -- Umno Youth will use a courteous approach when debating Malay issues during the party's annual general assembly starting Oct 19.
Information chief Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina said the 13 speakers would be reminded to respect other races to prevent irresponsible groups from twisting their words.
"I will not impose any restriction on what they are going to talk but I will highlight certain concerns," he told a press conference here Monday.
Reezal said debate on issues would reflect the wing's strength and unity.
"We are not going to be racial. As a race-based party, they will be talking on issues that concern the Malays," he added.
The speakers would debate three motions namely the policy address by youth chief Khairi Jamaludin, economy, education and religion.

tunku : we agree that the umno youth should respect other races but in the same time umno youth should not be cowards that they won't dare to ask for the bumis right.they should demand the government to do more for the bumis as bumis are still left very much behind compare to non bumis.when this thing happens then there would be anger and dissatisfaction among the races.right now the economy is controlled by the non bumis which is not fair at all and umno youth should be brave enough to ask and fight for more bumis equity in the economy.the debaters should be only caution on not to condemn or disrespect other races and what is due to them but other than that they are free to speak it out.

Please read Article 153 of the constitution together with the other provisions because the constitution of Malaysia recognises the existance of other communities.
That founding document must also be respected.

When MCA is "transfering" the Chinese School from somewhere in the country to i.e Puchong. UMNO Youth said nothing.

Enough is enough. As no more Chinese School needed somewhere else in the counrty it should just end there. No more transfering.

If no Chinese School available in Puchong joint the Sekolah Kebangsaan. No more transfering location of Chinese School from Location A to Location B.

Just imagine if we would be like this in another 50years. Where is 1Malaysia in the future.

A BIG jokes from MCA also they are questioning 30% Bumiputra Equity but they keep transfering of what they have even though it is not valid to do it anymore.

What is UMNO Youth doing about this. Nothing. Come on when you going out to play politics you play it right and you play it good. Do not tell me you would play in nicely.

So just change UMNO Youth to U Youth or U Tube and i would not dispute of what sweet approach that they want to do.

UMNO should remains UMNO in it struggles no less. KHABIS.
