Chinese Perkasa ?

Liow: Chinese Perkasa Is Lim's Personal View, Not MCA's

KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 (Bernama) -- MCA leaders have brushed off a suggestion by party vice-president Datuk Donald Lim to form a Chinese "Perkasa".
Deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai dimissed Lim's idea as a personal view that did not reflect the party's opinion.
"This is not the party's stand. The party has voiced out its stand that we sometimes do not agree with what Perkasa (Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia) does or say. So, why should we set up another body to counter them?.
"MCA's stand is always for unity in the country, always working closely with all races and we will continue to promote harmony and unity in the country," he told reporters at the parliament lobby, here Monday.
Lim had reportedly called for the formation of a Chinese Perkasa to rebut the Malay rights non-governmental organisation headed by the vocal Datuk Ibrahim Ali.
MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said the party had not discussed such a proposal and it did not practise tit-for-tat politics.
"We have never discussed the formation of a Chinese Perkasa. I do not believe in this and we do not subscribe to tit-for-tat politics.
"We will voice out the grievances of the community regardless of race, and although the MCA is a communal-based party, we will fight for all Malaysians," he said.

tunku : first of all there is no such thing as Chinese Perkasa.perkasa is "pribumi perkasa negara".they are upholding what is in the constitution. ngo's like Dong Jiao Zong, the Dewan Perhimpunan Cina been there for a long time and no doubt they are racist group.maybe donald lim and others should look at these associations first before jumping like monkeys.

I still believe that until we place our Children under the same roof under the same school system it would be like this for the next 50 years.

We have to prepare for 1Generation of Malaysian without racial line.

We would not achieve it during our generation but i strongly believe our children would.....giving from now on we need to place them under same school system.

What we are lacking is political will among our leader especially CHINESE DOMINATED PARTIES.

Towards 1Generation, 1School & 1Malaysian.

The one-school system is politically not possible as the chinese and indian based parties dare not go for it.

My dream for Malaysia is to have all schools teach in BM and science and maths in English and of course teach English in English. Make all students take another language subject eg their mother tongue.

Problem is that politcians talk and talk and no action. When my child started Primary One in sekolah kebangsaan in 2003, POL was supposed to be a subject.8 years later, the governemnt is still talking about making POL compulsory.
