Review FTA Negotiations With United States - Bar Council

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Bar Council has urged the government to review Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations with the United States for supporting Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.
Its president Datuk Ambiga Sreenavasan said the Bar Council supported the move urging the people to boycott Jewish products as protest against the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
"Israeli atrocities on Palestinians is unacceptable and must be strongly condemned, hence this forum so that the people will understand the Palestine- Israel conflict," she told Bernama at the 'Not Just Another War: Myth and Reality in Occupied Palestine" here Friday night.
Ambiga said world leaders should cooperate to address the conflict to stop the bloodshed in Palestine.
The forum which discussed the Palestine-Israel conflict that stretched for decades was attended by more than 200 participants.

tunku : for the first time i have to agree with the bar council and for the first time they came out with something that is really appreciated.
