Anwar Prepared To Be Spat On If Pakatan Rakyat Fails To Effect ChangeKUALA TERENGGANU, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is prepared to be spat in his face if Pakatan Rakyat fails to bring change if it is given the mandate to rule the country.
"I dare not make an oath or a promise, but I pledge that I will look after the people's lot. If I fail to do this, you can come to see me and spit in my face," he told a crowd at a ceramah (talk) last night.
The ceramah, organised by Pakatan Rakyat, was to show support for Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut, the PAS candidate for the Kuala Terengganu by-election in the run-up to polling day, Jan 17.
The ceramah, held within the compound of the Jalan Bukit Kecil flats, was attended by about 100 people.
In his talk, Anwar raised the issues of his arrest by the police, land acquisition by Umno and corruption.
In the by-election, Mohd Abdul Wahid faces Barisan Nasional's Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh and an independent candidate.
tunku : everyone should spit on this moron's face. he was in the government and the deputy prime minister of malaysia for many years, what has he done then? nothing. in fact he was trying to sell the country to imf.he gave projects to his cronies which till today enjoying it and funding pkr's activities. this moron deserve a spit on the face.

yet another "promising words of wisdom" by our former deputy Prime Minister.all that he did so far is giving promised to the people.oh and not to mentioned he also had gave us a few dates that he said to be reckoned as the date that will crumble the federal govt.
up until now BN is still in power and PKR (especially Anwar) is still struggling to make it to the top.
the only chance to people cant spit on his face if he got the mandate to rule the country and he fails to bring changes.but for now no one dont ever dare to be close to his face.haha.
