Aman Malaysia Docs Ready To Head For Gaza

PETALING JAYA, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- Ten Aman Malaysia (Peace Malaysia) doctors, including a radiology specialist, have volunteered to serve in Gaza if given the go ahead.
Aman Malaysia coordinator Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir said apart from providing medical support, the team would also compile a report on Israel's atrocities on civilians in the Palestinian territory.
"The report will be submitted to the United Nations," he told reporters at the launching of Petaling Jaya Umno Youth's humanitarian fund for Palestine here tonight.
The donation drive which will last for two weeks was launched by the division's head Datuk Ikhwan Salim. The total collected will be handed over to Aman Malaysia to be channeled to the war victims in Gaza.
Israel's atrocities in Gaza launched on Dec 27 has claimed over 900 lives to date, mostly women and children.
Malaysian's wishing to donate can write out cheques to "Peace Malaysia" and send them to Aman Malaysia's Secretariat at Blok B-13-D2, Plaza Mont Kiara, No.2 Jalan Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur or make a direct deposit into CIMB Bank's "Peace Malaysia" account number 1420-0007389-058.
