Kampar Umno Sends Petition Asking Tajol Rosli To Resign

KAMPAR, April 27 (Bernama) -- The Kampar Umno division has sent a petition to party state liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Tajol Rosli Ghazali asking him to resign as he has failed to carry out his duty as a leader.
The petition was signed by 111 representatives of the division and its Wanita, Youth and Puteri wings, as well as the branch heads at a special meeting recently.
Division secretary Abdul Rahman Md. Som said a copy of the petition was sent to Prime Minister and Umno president Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
This followed a call from the division head Datuk Mohd Radzi Manan on April 14 for Tajol Rosli, the former Perak Menteri Besar, to step down to make way for a more energetic leader.
Speaking to reporters after meeting about 500 members from the division at Changkat Tin, near here, today, Abdul Rahman said the petition also conveyed the division's disappointment over Tajol Rosli's lack of initiative to revive the spirit of Perak Umno members following Barisan Nasional's dismal showing in the March 8 general election.
He said the members were under stress as Perak Umno had lost its direction and there was no specific plan of action for its strength to be restored as soon as possible.

tunku : not only perak umno had lost its direction with no specific plan of action but also in kedah, penang, selangor and most of the states. people like pak lah, mahdzir khalid, tajol rosli should quit and let others to lead as the have failed miserably.

If they can get the creep into Pak Lah's head, deeming him not fit and not wanted anymore; what more of Tajol Rosli.

I dont think Umno Perak has lost direction. On contrary, they are playing to a new tune and guidance of a new and much needed direction.

Tajol Rosli never was a famous leader among Umnos. If his own state doesnt wants him hence calling the shot for him to resign, he should do so. Let others in and let himself out, with dignity, while still can.

Wakaka....lepas ni si Tajol Rosli akan menangis lagi kerana kehilangan jawatan Perhubungan UMNO Perak...

Ala, biasalah si Tajol anak Rosli nie..selalu menangis, macam sebelum pilihanraya (UMNO hilang kerusi kepada Gerakan), dan selepas pilihanraya (Perak jatuh ke tangan Pakatan Rakyat).

Kalau macamni tahap pimpinan UMNO Perak, patut lah kalah...asyik2 nangis jer tahu...

My dear Tunku,

I see no reason why all of you should ask Tajol to resign. After all, he won his DUN seat, the people support him, why should Tajol resign? Tajol is a good man, very kind hearted and does not cakap busuk tentang hal lain orang. Let Tajol continue to lead UMNO/BN Perak.

Please lah you guys stop living in disneyland! Who says Tajol is not nice? Can being nice alone lead the BN to recapture Perak?
Like wakmasnoor said we need guidance and a new direction.Only then we can move forward.
We are not the charlie chaplin era where the movie is mute. What we are complaining is the people dont feel the vibes of fighting back of any kind in Perak.Let it be known to all grassroots that hes doing something to make a comeback if hes still interested if not just make way to somebody else, its that simple. Crying is not the solution.Go with dignity thats the word.
