Blogger makes peace with Pak Lah and plans to rejoin Umno

PETALING JAYA: Blogger Zaharin Yasin, who was sacked from Umno for his scathing personal attacks on Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in his Sang Kelembai blog, has made his peace with the party president and will soon apply to rejoin Umno.
He said the general election results had shown that Umno and Barisan Nasional had “lost and was weak”, so he felt it was not right for him to hit the leader when he was weak and down as this would only benefit the Opposition.
Denying claims that he had received RM1mil for his change of heart, Zaharin said: “If I was offered RM1mil before the election, I would have accepted, but after the elections even if they give me just RM10 to cium tangan (kiss the hand of) Pak Lah once again, I would do it.”
Zaharin said he only started his attacks to make the Prime Minister realise the folly of listening to his 4th floor boys and other “advisers”.

“These people ‘walled’ Pak Lah in so that he could not see out and we could not look in. They felt that if they could control Pak Lah by walling him in, they would get bigger benefits. The wall was as high as the Berlin Wall!
“Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad during his time in office only had a ‘fence’ around him, so he could see the outside and we could also look in. So my duty was to break down that wall around Pak Lah and I think we have succeeded,” he said.
Zaharin said Abdullah took moral responsibility for Barisan’s dismal performance by mentioning the 4th floor boys and his son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin in his comments although he did not blame them.
He said Abdullah also tried to make amends by naming Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as his successor so that there would be no more questions on the matter.
He said Barisan performed poorly because Abdullah did not heed reports from the Special Branch and Military Intelligence Officers.
“The timing for the elections was all wrong because of the issues of Bersih, Hindraf, the use of live bullets by the police to break up an opposition demonstration in Terengganu, and the Lingam video clip.”
Zaharin likened the party to the Titanic and questioned why certain leaders and members were insistent on throwing the captain overboard when the ship was sinking.
“I agree that Pak Lah should go but let him first steer the ship close to shore, then you can throw him out,” he said.
Zaharin, who was sacked from Umno in Sept 2006, buried the hatchet with Abdullah when they met in Sabah on Monday.
He said his blog would focus on Cabinet ministers, adding that he would still criticise Abdullah if he had proof of misdeeds.

Tunku, you shld not give prominence to Zahrin 360* turn-about. He is not worth a sen to get attention. He is worse then sh**. Iknew all along , he was under payroll of TG Adnan,JJ, MB pahang and many others he manged to exploit!! When he embarked onslaught on Pak Lah, he was reported to have been seen in sri perdana on many occassions nd to make it more suspicious, always after 10 pm. This goes to show that all along we have been had by Zahari!! It was only a ploy to fool us even his expulsion from UMNO!!

So from now on, do not discussanything on Pak Lah with this sh**! Tunku , I implore upon you to inform all your blogging fretenities to stay away from him!!
