Endless Possibilities: Malaysia Launched It Earlier Than Israel.

The slogan ‘Endless Possibilities’ that was launched in 17 September 2012 is being critically discussed in many blogs and websites. The controversy started because some of the bloggers were saying that it is similar with the Israeli Ministry of Tourism’s slogan.

Because Malaysia already use the 1 Malaysia slogan, adding an extension to the slogan with the phrase ‘Endless Possibilities’ makes it so much similar to the Israeli’s slogan.

Thus, Malaysia is being accused as copying Israel, the motives of our government is doubt.

The fact of the matter is Malaysia has already introduced the ‘Endless Possibilities’ slogan earlier than Israel during the World Economic Forum in Davos on the 13th of Disember 2012. For that, a video titled ‘Malaysia-Endless Possibilities’ shows that Dato’ Seri Najib himself promoting Malaysia. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04_aNZ8nK_M (Preview) )

The particular video was uploaded to Youtube on the 5th of February 2013.

The Tourism Ministry of Israel only used the slogan ‘One Place, Endless Possibilities’ in their website on May 2013. The slogan was never launched and it was never been regarded as an official statement,.

It is clear that Malaysia, did not copy Israel. Maybe Israel is the one who copy form Malaysia, whether they realize it or not, we do not know.

The question is, why so many people keeps on accusing Malaysia was the one who copied Israel and not the other way around? Is it because of the perception that Malaysian does not have the skills to write slogan for its own country.

Maybe it is time for Malaysian to change the way they think and do not feel so small standing with other countries in the world. The weak and ugly must not always come from us, the brilliant and beautiful must not always come from them.

Be Proud Malaysia! We can do anything if we put all our effort in it!
