Police nab four car thieves

IPOH, Mon: Police nabbed four men believed to be involved in stealing luxury cars in two separate incidents in the city early today.
Ipoh police chief, ACP Azisman Alias, said the men were arrested after they were seen behaving suspiciously by patrolmen.
In the first incident at 1.10am in Jalan Musa Aziz, police caught two men who tried to take off in a BMW reported stolen in Kepong, Selangor, he said at a news conference here today.
Azisman said the victim was eating at a restaurant in Bukit Maluri, Kepong, 11.30pm yesterday when he was approached by two men who beat him up, took RM1,000, his RM1,500 handphone, his wallet and several important documents and took off in his car.
Azisman said four policemen in patrol cars spotted and nabbed the two suspects at a traffic light at Jalan Musa Aziz here.
The two, aged 28 and 29 years, have been remanded for seven days for investigation and it was found they had criminal records, he said.
In the other incident at 4am, police saw two men in Bercham here acting suspiciously while driving a Toyota-Camry and when the policemen tried to apprehend them they sped off.
Azisman said the car was stopped at Lebuh Bercham Selatan after a 40 minute chase during which a patrol car was damaged after being side-swiped by the Toyota.
He said the car was reported stolen on June 26 and was using false number plates. Both suspects in their 20s had criminal records and were remanded for a week, he said. -- BERNAMA

tunku : hope the police will give special treatment to those thieves as if something happen to them, then the government will have to set up a royal commission etc. these thieves will be made hero overnight. if they die, their coffin will be carried by luxury cars. top political party leaders will pay their last respect for the criminals.it's great to be a thief....don't you think so.it only happens in Malaysia because we have political party like the pakatan rakyat.
