I am willing to take the risk: Muhyiddin

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he is willing to take the risk as he is not afraid of consequences for calling the Prime Minister to resign earlier.
Muhyiddin said he did not mean to hurt Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi with his statement.
On Wednesday, Muhyiddin said Abdullah should rethink his transition plan to step down by 2010 as the timeframe was too long.
Muhyiddin was quoted as saying that the transition plan revealed by the Prime Minister two months ago had “sunk away” and that people were not thinking about it anymore.
Under the transition of power, Abdullah is to hand over the post of Prime Minister, the chairmanship of Barisan Nasional and the presidency of Umno to his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in June 2010.

tunku : yes muhyiddin, good answer and a brave one. only those who are obligated(projects/cash) ,supports pak lah, majority of umno members don't even like him what more to support him.

I think Mahyuddin is brave to go on this course of asking Pak Lah to "exit" earlier. Risking his position in the cabinet, he wants to urge party members to consider dan re-consider the actual reasons why UMNO particularly, has lost its sting and respect.Corrective measures must be duly and urgently taken if the rot is to be stopped.
