We Now Need Only 28 MPs, Says Anwar

SHAH ALAM, June 21 (Bernama) -- Parti Keadilan Rakyat adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said Friday night Pakatan Rakyat (People's Alliance) now needed only 28 crossover members of parliament to form the government.
Pakatan Rakyat needed 30 MPs to do so but Anwar said with two Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) MPs supporting a motion of no confidence against the prime minister, the pact now needed only 28 MPs to switch sides.
"We want to congratulate Datuk Yong Teck Lee (SAPP President) and the two SAPP MPs," he said at a gathering in conjunction with the 100th day of Pakatan Rakyat's rule in Selangor attended by about 10,000 people at the Shah Alam Stadium.
He was confident that Pakatan Rakyat would be able to form the government, saying the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) was in disarray.
Pakatan Rakyat has 82 MPs while BN has 140.
Meanwhile, Anwar said Pakatan Rakyat would fight any motion to support further increase of fuel price, which he claimed would be tabled in the coming Dewan Rakyat sitting.

tunku : this crazy moron said he has 30 mp's in hand, now he is saying he needs another 28 after he thinks that he had secured 2 sapp's seats. i wonder why people tend to believe and support moron like anwar? anyway let us wait till 16th september as this moron said that they will form new government.

Despite all the gimmicks these are things that Rakyat wanna see:
1. UMNO must have a very strong leadership to continue governing this nation.
2. Pakatan must focus on as originally intended as a check an balance instrument in Parliment on the present government.
3. Pakatan should stay away from forming the Federal government and stop becoming too greedy with power by fousing on what the Rakyat want them to do on the first place.
4. Pakatan should only be in power via legitimate way coming this PRU13 in 2012/2013. Pakatan should just forget about the jumping frog.
5. Barisan is having the majority in Parliment from PRU12, PAKATAN must respect that.
6. Currently the Rakyat have going back to work but our current government seem could not keep focus and moving forward with the new agenda due to current political and leadership crisis.
7. Our politicians are putting the Rakyat as hostage with what going on currently. They are dragging Rakyat along with their current crisis.
8. In reality Rakyat is currently under heavy pressure for survival. None of the real concrete solutions have been implemented to really rescue the current hardship facing by Rakyat other than short term and cosmetic solutions. We really need intelligent and leadership skills from our qualify leader to rescue us out of this current economic crisis. It is directly facing by the Rakyat. The crisis is pulling Rakyat along.
9. What we are facing is crisis after crisis. These would keep coming until the real problem being fix by our leaders. Our leaders still have no gut to resolve the current crisis. Their personal interest is more heavier than the Rakyat interest.
10. Among our leaders nobody is taking our economic crisis seriously. The Rakyat and the nation would pay a heavy price for these neglect and lack of seriousness.
12. The clock is tickling. Opposite from pror to PRU12 Pakatan start to seriously interested in power rather that focus on how to contribute for betterment of the Rakyat.
13. Could a reality of PRU12 become more worsen for Barisan coming this PRU13 due to lack of seriousness in dealing with current situation and still no concrete solution implemented by the current government. The current management of the country is going downhill. The government must do something really concrete. We are still waiting.
