Alleged sodomy was 'in a Damansara condo'

The sodomy allegedly committed by de facto PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim took place "in a condo in the Damansara area", according to the police report filed by his 23-year-old aide yesterday.
Criminal Investigation Department chief Bakri Zinin also confirmed that a medical check-up of the alleged victim was being done.
"Our duty is to send (the complainant) to the hospital for checks," he told a press conference in the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters today.
Bakri revealed that the victim lodged the report at 5.45pm yesterday at the ‘pondok polis' at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, where the Jalan Travers police station has jurisdiction.
However, he refused to divulge details of the alleged sodomy.
"I assure you that we will do a detailed and fair investigation," he stressed.
When asked whether Anwar would be arrested, Bakri said the police would need to "study the allegation first".
Bakri also refused to divulge what section of the Penal Code would be used for the purpose of investigations, despite being repeatedly asked on the matter by journalists.
Section 377 of the Penal Code states that acts of heterosexual and homosexual sodomy is a punishable offence of up to 20 years.
Bakri: Rumour mongers will be punished
Anwar has rejected the fresh accusations against him - the second time in 10 year - and described it as a "complete fabrication". PKR also said that Saiful was arrested and forced by the police to lodge such a report against Anwar.
However, the police denied that Saiful (left) was arrested and forced to fabricate evidence as claimed by PKR.
"Don't listen to rumours. Listen to me. I'm the CID chief," said Bakri when asked whether Saiful was arrested before making his police report.
He stressed that the alleged victim wrote the police report himself.
Bakri also warned that action would be taken against rumour mongers who send out SMSes that can jeopardise public security.

tunku : last time bangsar(tivoli) condo now damansara condo...... future ??? anyway let the police investigates fairly and fast as this is very high profile case. if it was not anwar ibrahim as the accuser, the accuser already in jail right now. police is taking easy on him but his group are accusing police with all sort of things.
