Ali Rustam; Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein; Ahli Majlis Tertinggi (MT) UMNO, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi; Menteri Besar Pahang, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob; bekas Menteri Besar Perlis, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim dan bekas Ketua Menteri Melaka, Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik.
tunku : by credibility rais should fight for higher post than the vice president.anyway he should to be one of the vice president.this man is brilliant and should be made the de facto law minister not zaid ibrahim. if he had head the batu putih team from earlier the verdict will be different right now. there is none of the six people who announce that they will fight for the vice presidency post who are capable to bring umno into the next level. zahid, hisham, rahim tambychik, adnan yaakob, shahidan kassim adn ali rustam is considered outdated and not well received by the grass roots. one leader from sabah should be the vice president.to me people like rais, khir toyo and may be shafie afdal will be a good choice for the vice presidency post. rais can concentrate on seniors support ,khir toyo the youth group support and shafie can get sabah support.

Rais for President! Eh it sounds in tandem with everything that happens lately. Come on Rais take the challenge while the `semangat Batu Puteh and Middle Rocks' is still there. If I were you I would go for broke, after all we are all history in the making and who knows you are very much a part of that history.
Frankly i think Rais is a good material for Presidency.Maybe we all should start to think of Rais as UMNO President and Mahyuddin as Deputy President. Giving this new scenerio what could be accomplished for the betterment of the Party.
Nothing wrong to challenge the President post as this would energize the free flow of democratic process in the Party. When the democractic process is flowing it would energize UMNO for a new challenge.
Party unity actually just a slogan that has been abused by certain leader that is weak and worry to be challenged. The reality is that by having the post contested it would benefit the party in a long run. All the weaknesses would surface and could be identified for improvement.
I beg to differ since the reasoning for the Pedra Branca being given to Singapore was because Malaysia has not done anything effective to claim its sovereignty for over 100 years. It is doubtful if he managed to done differently. Batu Putih being Pedra Branca was an act of teason by previous leaders!
Just wonder...
when we gave Singapore independence in the 1960s,
didn't we specify what's theirs and what's ours????
If not, how can we forgot about this?
If yes, didn't we submit the document?
Tak Dak Nama 3
