Nashrudin: I Am Not A Problematic Leader

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa said Thursday he is not a "problematic leader" as claimed by the party's spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
He said if he was a problematic leader, the delegates would not have elected him to the post during the party's annual general assembly in June.
"I'm shocked that my name is mentioned by Tok Guru (Nik Aziz). (But) it is normal for a leader to advise party members. In PAS, top and influential leaders like him will always give us advice.
"He has been reminding us on a number of things but in this case, the reminder came in the form of a blog entry," he told reporters at parliament lobby here.
This was Nashrudin's first reaction to the statement by Nik Aziz, which labelled him as among "two or three problematic leaders" in PAS.
Nik Aziz also suggested that the party hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to rid the party of these leaders.
Others mentioned in the blog at www.bloktokguru.com were secretary-general Datuk Mustafa Ali and Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Dr Hassan Ali.
Nik Aziz claimed there was need to change key players in the party whom he said had been harping on the issue of a unity government with Umno.
Nasharudin said Nik Aziz had explained the content of the blog to PAS central committee Wednesday and that the committee decided to hold a political seminar on Nov 7 instead and not an EGM as suggested by the Kelantan menteri besar.

tunku : it is so obvious that nik aziz hates nasha because nasha has defeated husam musa in the party's election for the deputy president post. nik aziz wants his protege to be the deputy president.it is not nasha a problematic leader but it is their own tok guru the so called ulamak.
