KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- Tenaga Nasional Bhd president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh today dismissed talks that he is moving to Petronas as its president.
"This country, there are too many rumours. Let's concentrate on serious work and do real serious tasks. Forget about rumours," he said during a media briefing on the Central Area Reinforcement Project here, Thursday.
He said this when asked to confirm if he was eyeing the job in Petronas as speculated in the market and by several bloggers.
Che Khalib was appointed as the president/CEO of TNB on 1 July 2004. Prior to joining TNB, he served as a member of the board and also the executive committee of Khazanah Nasional Bhd from 2000 till 2004.
tunku: we hope what che khalib said is the truth as we don't want tan sri hassan merican to be replaced. he had done a terrific job at petronas and should continue doing so.
