State Youth Chiefs To Comprise New Faces, Says Khairy

SEREMBAN, April 14 (Bernama) -- The list of state Umno Youth heads, comprising new faces who have the capability and credibility, will be announced at the end of the month, said national Umno Youth head Khairy Jamaluddin.
He said the selection of the leaders had been discussed with the respective State Umno Liaison heads who had given their consent to the list.
"Although there are several states where discussions are still going on, insyaAllah, the full list of the Umno Youth heads for all states will be announced by the end of the month at the latest," he said when met at the installation and coronation of Tengku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud as the Tunku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan at the Throne Room, Istana Besar Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah, today.
Yesterday, Khairy announced the new line-up for the Umno Youth management committee.
Khairy, who is also the Rembau Member of Parliament, said following discussions with the heads of the respective State Umno Liaison Bodies, he had agreed to appoint the State Umno Youth heads and, generally, the candidates who would be appointed to lead the young generation comprised new faces who were highly credible and capable of mobilising the state Umno Youth machinery to win the hearts of the people to support Umno.

tunku : we hope that khairy will not sideline the pemuda berani dan berani berubah team in his selection.he must give to the well deserve people not only to his cronies like he did when he appointed reezal merican and few others.we hope khairy will not spoil the show for pemuda umno as he had already did that by heading it.
