Umno Youth to discuss action against Mukhriz

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir's fate will be known after the Umno Youth executive council meets soon to discuss action to be taken against him for urging the Prime Minister to step down.
The movement's chief Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the executive council, of which Mukhriz is a member, would sit and discuss his unsanctioned action after the Cabinet line-up has been formed.
"He has said (his letter) was his personal opinion so it shouldn't be out on the Internet; I don't know who released it.
"Even though he may have acted in his personal capacity, it is an irresponsible act and we will take action through our proper channels after the cabinet line-up is announced.
"This is a realistic decision as the exco will also have to discuss the Cabinet line-up and the people's views.
"What Mukhriz has done is contrary to what I have stated as our stand is to fully support the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister," he said after a meeting with MCA Youth chief Datuk Liow Tiong Lai, Gerakan Youth chief Datuk Mah Siew Keong and MIC Youth chief S.A. Vigneswaran on Saturday.
On Friday, Mukhriz wrote a letter to Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi asking him to do the honourable thing and step down following the ruling coalition’s dismal showing in the 12th general election.
He sent copies of the letter to Umno leaders, namely deputy president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, vice-president Datuk Wira Ali Rustam, vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and secretary-general Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad.
In 2006, Mukhriz caused a stir when he said Abdullah’s speech at the Umno general assembly offered nothing new and he was a bit disappointed with it.
He was later let off with a stern warning after he apologised to the Umno Youth executive council for his outburst.

tunku : i thought pak lah is more transparent as claimed by many.don't tell me an umno member can't write a letter to the president to express his views or critism. It's not done in public so what action are the umno youth ( kj's group ) going to take?

By throwing a card to Youth heads, AAB is watching , the actions will determine the line up of portfolio for both heads. They only have 24 hours.

As Mukhriz position is international, any harsh actions on him will stir up oversea observer. AAB does nothing. In chinese.. ' borrow knife from other and kill ';

It seem to 10 millions voters and 23 million population, and 6 mil tax payers, after election, We have no peace, everyday challenging, counter challenge at all level all front.

During MAhathir's time, everyuone says there is no room for any voice to be heard.

What law is broken by an UMNO member seeking the president's resignation?

Mukhriz is more sincere than Hisham. He tells it like it is to Abdullah. Abdullah asked to be told the truth, now he would rather hear lies and fake praises.

Let it be known Abdullah, that when you are no longer in power, it is Mukhriz that will be showing more respect to you than the likes of Hisham, Muhyiddin and Ali Rustam. These people we gang up and run you and your son in law down.

Now I know why BN lost 4 more states and did not able to maintain 2/3 majority. Simply because leaders of all major components do not want to listen to the truth. They only want to hear what they like to hear. So, no point in appointing an independent body to evaluate BN's performance in PRU12 if you only want to hear what you like to hear, but not what you are suppose to hear.
