"The prices of these goods will remain as they are," said Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Saripuddin Kassim in a statement Friday.
Commenting on allegations of price hikes which were spread during and after the 13th general election, he said action would be taken on those taking advantage of the situation.
Consumers can lodge complaints directly to the ministry's branch offices or call 1MOCC at 03-80008000, or online at http://e-aduan.kpdnkk.gov.my.
