Haze: Do we just suffer or can something be done?

It's that time of the year, between June and September, for us to be annually smothered by trans-boundary pollutants that we have euphemistically call the haze that thick and acrid smog from forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan.

The blight of haze is worst now in Singapore, parts of adjoining Johor and the Straits of Malacca and these pollutants are brought here by south-westerly winds.

Although for now the haze is confined to parts of Johor and Malacca, it has the potential to spread to other parts of the country as had happened in previous years.

There is nothing to be done except taking mitigating efforts and begging Indonesia to stop the fires, offer assistance in cash or fire fighters and fire fighting equipment's as we did once in 2006 and suffer the smog as we go about our restricted daily lives.

In Indonesia too, the smog affects everyone within the fire zones but people have become used to it going about their daily routines with just a face marks and uncomplaining.

The dry weather and the need to clear the land in Indonesia mostly by small swidden farmers and by the cheapest way possible firing the bushes all helps to get the fire going but the problem is the south westerly winds that bring the smog over to neighbouring countries.

Big plantation companies are also said to get into the act as in the great haze of 1997 when the ASEAN region was blanketed in smog incurring a total economic loss of over US$9bil.

A year after the great haze, we had the Nipah virus outbreak that decimated our pig industry as well as leaping from beast to man, killing 40% of 257 people who caught it.
US researchers later attributed the emergence of the Nipah virus to giant bats that carry the virus naturally fleeing the Sumatra fires of 1997 and coming over here to nest near pig farms, transmitting the virus to pigs and later to farm workers.

ASEAN countries have been choking on the haze almost annually since the last great haze some 16 years ago.
Is the problem beyond the capacity of Jakarta to resolve?

Ordinary people, visitors and investors are asking this very question. Why can't they put an end to it once and for all.

Every time we, meaning Malaysia, Singapore and other sufferers, point an accusing finger at Indonesia, the answer comes back; it's your big plantation companies that are doing it.
This time in Indonesia, a senior Environment Minister official, was quick to blame foreign-owned plantation companies of firing the forest to clear vegetation causing the smog.

The burning of forests to plant oil palm trees either by small-holders or big companies - is a recurrent problem in Indonesia, especially during the annual dry season from June to September.
Yet, Indonesia is the only ASEAN member not to have ratified a 2002 ASEAN pact on preventing haze pollution.

In the meantime, Indonesia has vastly expanded its palm oil plantations, overtaking Malaysia as the world's biggest supplier of palm oil.

But at what price?
An environmental disaster is in the making each time Indonesia fires its forest or allows others to fire the forest.

The toll of the fires and land clearing is enormous on Indonesia's forest and its wildlife population.
Not to speak of good neighbourly relations that often hits a sore note each time the haze comes over to our side of the Straits of Malacca.

The main culprits is a lack of political will on the part of Indonesia to combat forest fires simple because burning is fast, cheap, efficient and requires little labour.

It's burning that puts Indonesia ahead so to speak but places its neighbours at a great disadvantage. We have to suffer from the unwanted affluent of the burning and it is brought to us by winds over which we have no control.

Indonesia owes its neighbours a duty not to cause harm or injuries as a good neighbour and as a matter of simple common law.

And if there is sufficient evidence against foreign owned plantation companies for firing the forest as is claimed by Indonesia, by all means act against them, prosecute the offenders.
Don't just pass the buck back to us.

Assuredly, both Singaporeans and Malaysians, who are outraged by the blatant conduct of offenders, would cheer such stern action if its forthcoming.

It will show everyone that Indonesia means business for once and will likely see no repeat of the offence in future.

But sadly the truth is, such rogue companies, if any, thrive in permissive regimes where commercial interest overrides health and environmental concerns.

The best we can do for now is suffer the haze and for our leaders to nudge big Indonesia to ratify the 2002 trans-boundary haze pollution agreement that ASEAN has adopted.

This will go some distance to curb trans-boundary pollutions.

Azizan will leave state seat?

Rumour has it that the former Menteri Besar of Kedah and also the state legislative member for Sungai Limau, Tan Sri Azizan Razak will resign his state seat soon.

This is sad news to all Pakatan Rakyat members. This also means that the first ever by election after the 13th General Election will be held in Sungai Limau.

We were informed that Azizan’s decision to leave his seat vacant is because of his health condition. Everyone knows that because of the effect of diabetes the doctors amputated both of his leg to avoid further damage to his body.

However, Azizan’s decision to leave his state seat was opposed by a few Kedah PAS leaders that are trying all that they can to avoid a by election in Aziz
an’s constituency. They know that PAS will lose the seat if Azizan leaves the seat vacant.
Without Azizan as a candidate, as well as the declining influence of PAS in the state, it is indeed a matter to be feared by PAS and the Pakatan Rakyat.

Things are going from bad to worse for PAS Kedah.

We believe that Azizan do not have to leave his seat vacant and a by election to be held. Azizan should remain in the state seat as long as he can or up till the 14th general election.

The fact of the matter is, as long as we can control the situation, we need to put all effort to avoid a by election. We hope that Azizan should stay on the seat for the sake of the party. Azizan should not be selfish even if he is currently disabled.

The reason is clear; we need to boost the morale of Pakatan Rakyat supporters especially in a BN led state. We need to stand united and avoid all effort for a by election especially when BN has the upper hand.

Our political history has shown that since October 2009, BN won all of the by election that was held because of the death of its holder (except in Sibu), and ever since the end of 13th general election, BN will win any by election.

This includes the Hulu Selangor parliament that was previously held by Pakatan Rakyat in 2008. It is important to understand that Pakatan Rakyat will not lose the Sungai Limau seat in a by election.

Many of Pakatan Rakyat state seat holders are having health issues for example the Grand Imam of PAS and also the former Kelantan Menteri Besar, Nik Aziz Nik Mat. Even though his health is at stake, he will not resign from his state seat. This is because he put his party first even before himself.

Azizan can hire an assistant to help him in his duties as a state legislative member. He does not have to do anything. What important is, there will be no by election because it will put Pakatan Rakyat in a compromising position.

Black out 505: Anwar is fooling his supporters.

As expected, Anwar will not boycott the parliamentary seating even though he said he would. The shameless Anwar Ibrahim took the oath and attended the seating after his series of Blackout 505 rallies failed to topple the government.

Anwar suggested that the Pakatan Rakyat should boycott the parliament because he thought DAP and PAS will follow him. However, his calculation was wrong as both of the party refuse to take the risk of losing its voice in the parliament. Thus, Anwar have to follow his allies as he is afraid of losing his position as the opposition leader.

We know that the DAP and PAS has already attended the parliament meeting in the absence of Anwar Ibrahim. The Pakatan Rakyat is thinking of appointing a new leader for the opposition. In a lot of ways, Anwar has become a liability to the coalition. Anwar has lost his focus and the Pakatan Rakyat is confused.

Other than that, Anwar seems to have lost his senses; he has lost all hope in becoming the Prime Minister. In a half conscious state, Anwar decided that he needs to attend the parliament proceeding only because of his title as the opposition leader.

Before the general election, western reporters stated that Anwar Ibrahim is only an entertainer in Malaysian politics. Long before that, he was labelled as a chameleon by western magazine.
Recently, when answering the issue of the Najib-Anwar meeting in Jakarta that never happened, a writer from Indonesia quoted Jusuf Kalla on his view of Anwar Ibrahim. The Vice President of Indonesia stated that Anwar lives in an imaginary world where he still considers himself the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

We have already detected the signs of delusion in Anwar Ibrahim, and we found out this a year ago. His delusion has become so severe that it enhances his ego and now even to have effect on his judgement.

Anwar Ibrahim that we see today is not the same Anwar we know during his reformation era. Dirty politics is embedded in his heart and soul. Easily said, if Anwar lie to the public, it is not because he is trying to fool the people, he do not have to planned it as he has become a compulsive habitual liar.
It seems like Malaysia has an opposition leader that has lost it soul. It is unsure how the opposition can contribute to the benefit of this country and its people.

Anwar Ibrahim strategy in the parliament has already been known by the people. He do not even care about the problem of the people or building the country, Anwar only knows how to organize demonstration, create riots and opposing the election.

Ironically, he will also take the oath on becoming a certified parliament member and the opposition leader based on the general election result that he opposed.

Our opposition are not helping the country to move forward, as all of their demands are taking the country one step behind. In addition to that, our opposition leader is a madmen.

The sad thing is, the supporters of the opposition are giving their full support and trust to this particular mad man. Supporters of the Pakatan Rakyat are treated like dogs by their leaders. All the demonstration and rallies done by them will come to no affect and their shameless leader will take the oath and become the opposition leader once more.

Chinese Infidels Will Also Become Martyrs!

PAS Vice President that was recently dropped from the line of Kelantan state exco, Datuk Husam Musa stated that those who attend the Blackout 505 in Padang Merbok on the 22nd of June 2013 will become martyrs if they died while attending the rally.

According to the Islamic beliefs, anyone who died as a martyr will be able to enter the gates of heaven without any hassle from any of the angels of God.

Syahid or martyrdom is sought after by all Muslims, it is because if a person dies a normal death, they would need to be weight by God. Their good and bad deeds will be presented in front of them, all this can be avoided if they achieve martyrdom.

Entering heaven without any obstacles, that is the mission of every Muslims.
The provision of martyrdom stated in the holy Quran and also the hadiths only applies to Muslims. Does non-Muslim eligible to become martyr? Heaven and hell is believed by all religion, why do Husam thinks that martyrdom only applies to Muslims?

This issue has been played by the Pakatan Rakyat for years now. Every rally, Muslims were fed by PAS Ulama’ and gurus new fatwas. For the supporters, they will believe all these jargons and do whatever they can to attend these rallies.

It seems like, if you died for the party, you will be granted heaven by PAS Ulama’s.
This is not fair and this website opposed any injustice that is being done to the people. It does not matter if you are an BN or PR supporters, The issue at hand is that, If Muslim died fighting for a righteous cause, does the Chinese or Indians infidels will have the same opportunity to become a marty, if they die for thei political beliefs.

It is estimated that 80% of the attendees are Chinese, and all of them believes in life after death. Heaven and hell also exist in their beliefs; did Husam think that the Chinese are not allowed in God’s heaven?

Husam needs to rephrase his statement and includes all the non-Muslims in the martyrdom as soon as possible. Husam have to remember, in event such as the Blackout 505 rally, it is not only attended by PAS, and it is not fair that only the Muslim will receive martyrdom.

The facts still stands, all Pakatan Rakyat members have to attend, and if there is benefit, everyone must receive it benefits not only the Muslims. Everyone is allowed into God’s heaven, and the martyrs of Blackout 505 will also receive the same treatment without discriminating their race of most importantly RELIGION.

TPP: BN’s Ultimate Challenge After The 13th General Election.

The 13th General Election has already passed and the BN government has already started to work for the people of Malaysia, while the Pakatan Rakyat is still opposing anything and everything that the government is proposing.

Malaysians are fed up with the endless political rhetoric and would like to see Malaysia continue to forge ahead. Thus, the people of this country are taking the ‘wait and see approach’ for the government and no longer taking any interest to the tantrums of the opposition.

The issue that is currently in the spotlight is the nation’s direction after being “slapped” with the Chinese Tsunami and issues regarding the economy of the nation. We are not shocked if the people are much more advance from the government because in this day and age, everything can be accessed on the tip of our fingers. Nothing is truly secret today, and the only thing that is still a secret is the stuff that is in our own heads.

We found out that the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) is being closely studied by the people while the government is trying to deal with it. Basically the people want to know the good and the bad of this particular agreement. They have obtained the information and have already made a conclusion on the particular matter.

Malaysians are waiting for an official statement from the government regarding the TPP.
One of the examples on the details of the TPP, if Malaysia does not rectify the agreement, the tax on our product will be higher if it is imported by countries who had agreed on the TPP. However, if we join in, we have to bear the cost of medicine higher than what we usually pay. There will be 60% to 80% than what we are paying now.

Higher import tax means it will have an effect in the county’s economy, while highly priced medicine will affect everyone. The most affected party in this particular agreement is the poor; it will also affect the middle class. BN have to remember that the poor and the middle class Malaysian was the one who supported BN in the 13th general election.

Even with higher import tax, it will also affect the masses as no particular economic groups are targeted. Medicine will be expensive and it will cause more hardship to the people.

Without proper information, in the eyes of the people of Malaysia, there is only one choice which is to forget about the TPP, and to carry on their lives with what has been given by the government.

TPP is the first test for BN to face after winning the 13th general election. It has to be given proper attention so that the government will not do anything that is not beneficial for the people. Proper information sharing and affective communication have to be made by the government. If it is really beneficial to the people of Malaysia, the government should not hesitate to openly present the TPP to the people of this country.

The BN government should have learned their previous mistakes; we the people of Malaysia are not dumb. The people of Malaysia are not mushrooms; you just cannot keep them in the dark and feed them rubbish.

Do we have to involve God in the election?

We fully condemn statements made by a few BN or PR leaders that say God is the reason why the PR lost the 13th General Election. For those who are oblivious on this particular issue, we would like to inform you that this issue is brought up by PAS President, Datuk Seri Abd Hadi Awang and later by Kota Belud MP, Datuk Ahmad Dahalan.

In our point of view, the process that involves facts and numbers is clearly in the hands of human beings and we cannot see how can the action of human beings is related to God’s will.
Thus, we agree fully with Serdang MP, Teo Nie Ching who came out and denied the involvement of God the last election result. Plus, with all of these lies and scandals issues tainted the 13th general election. It is an act of us human and does not have anything to do with God.

In another note, the statement made by Teo Nie Ching is clearly against the teaching of Islam, a faith that is professed by majority of Malaysian. Islam believes that everything that happens in this world is the will of God, but from another point of view, the belief is actually more towards protecting the ‘image’ of God itself.

We also believe that Muslims or non-Muslims alike, wants to see the ‘image’ and the concept of God is related to good things. The existence of bad elements must not be associated with God in any way or form.

For bad reference and imagery, almost all religion uses the Satan and the Devil as the adversary, corrupter and human’s eternal foe.

Both of these entities will preach all that is bad and wicked that can be done by human beings in this world. Election fraud must not be associated with God in any way.

To ensure that God will not be used as a reason for the loss of the Pakatan Rakyat in the last 13th General Election, they must show the facts and proofs that there is fraud in the election fast.
PKR Strategic Director, Rafizi Ramli was given the task to resolve the issue must act fast to present the poof, effectively before the Blackout rally that will be held on the 22nd of June 2013 in Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur.

Guan Eng Can’t Resist Politicising Kedah Water Supply

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water ... Lim Guan Eng came along. When most people mix two parts hydrogen with one part oxygen, they get water. When the Opposition try, they seem only to get disaster.

Before GE13, it was the improbably poor water supply in Kelantan and Kedah and the constant bickering between Selangor's State Government and the local water concessionaire, Syabas.

Oddly, the Opposition's other state somehow got away largely unscathed – that is apart from the running war between the then-PAS government in Kedah and DAP in Penang over the provision of raw water supplies.

Kedah's former Water Supply, Water Resources and Energy Committee chairman Datuk Phahrolrazi Zawawi explained that Kedah had spent millions in maintaining and conserving water catchment areas, ensuring that raw water supplied to Penang was clean and unpolluted.

As a consequence, the thinking in Kedah was that Penang should contribute something towards the costs. At the time, Lim Guan Eng was happy to bury his head in the sand, quipping that the suggestion must have been nothing more than a clerical error (something that he is presumably very familiar with since December).

"I believe this confusion arose from the officers in Kedah and I will leave it to the Kedah state government to sort it out," he said, washing his hands of the matter.

Even when PAS continued to harry him in the lead up to GE13, Lim Guan Eng was remarkably tight lipped – presumably trying not to damage Pakatan's reputation as a tight-knit coalition for the electorate.

Since May 5 however, the story has been altogether different.

Barisan Nasional, who swept to victory in Kedah, have also suggested the idea to DAP in Penang – something that has provoked outrage from George Town.

Kedah BN's proposal to charge Penang for raw water is "completely unreasonable" and akin to "asking money for nothing", Lim claimed last week, disputing Kedah's claim.

Kedah Mentri Besar, Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir said he, unlike some, did not wish to politicise the issue and said he would continue to negotiate with the DAP-led state. However he cited evidence he claims says Penang acknowledged the true boundaries of the Sungai Muda.

"A few months ago, the Penang Water Authority wrote to the Kedah government to ensure logging activities did not negatively impact their water supply. This is recognition from the state that the water catchment area is in Kedah," Mukhriz noted.

Kedah Gerakan Youth Tan Keng Liang was swift to call Lim to task over his hot air – steam if you will.

"The present Barisan Nasional-led Kedah government should not be made a scapegoat as it is only implementing the previous state government's plan," he said citing the RM640 million claim from PAS.

Tan, expecting a deadlock discussion, said that he would try to see the water plan tabled in Parliament. That is assuming of course that Lim doesn't boycott it.

Perception War: Where Does BN Stand?‏

Najib Razak, generally admitted that the Barisan Nasional, has lost the ‘perception war’ in the past 13th general election. It was reported in the Free Malaysian Today news portal date 16 June 2013, the lies and fraud that has been played by the opposition that has created a bad perception to the government.

What has been said by Najib Razak is true; this is because BN almost lost the election because of PR trickery in the past election. If there is anyone who must protest the PRU-13 it is BN and not PR.

BN was doing all it can for the rakyat, however, the PR is making up stories to ensure that the people of Malaysia hate Barisan Nasional. They do not have to work for the people but spend their whole term in office spreading lies and rumours in order to defame the government. Just look at the leaders of PR, from the likes of Anwar Ibrahim, Lik Kit Siang to the former mentri besar of Kelantan, Nik Aziz Nik Mat, what have they done to their constituency?  In the state that is govern by the Pakatan Rakyat, they lied to the people by showing off their state financial spending that is quite interesting, but the one who are benefitted is not the people of those state, but it can only be enjoyed by contractors, developers and business man.

Thus, all of BN efforts in helping the people of Malaysia are left to be unseen while the disgusting reality of the Pakatan Rakyat is covered with their perception game.

Even after the general election, there seems no end to the perception wars. No actual fact has been presented by the opposition on their accusation of the alleged electoral fraud made by BN. A lot of people still believe their lies. Everything is just perception created by the PR to cloud the judgement of the people.
How can this happen to Malaysians?

How can Malaysian are no longer able to think on the basis of facts and evidence? Why is it that no one took the liberty to ask Anwar Ibrahim on how to transport 40,000 Bangladeshi nationals, teach them how to vote, give them a place to stay, give them our identity card and later take them to the polling stations? The fact remains, that none of the Bangladeshi were caught, either by PR or by any of their media partners. Where are all of these Bangladeshi now?

Why none of the PR supporters ask about the electrical disturbance? Where did it happen? How many votes were added or lessen after the disturbance? Why any opposition party member did not state any protest during the counting process?

No one ask anything, they swallow everything whole and anything that is given to them by the opposition. That is the power of perception, it can even defeat facts and evidence.

It is hard for us admit that, some Malaysians today perceive BN as corrupt, slow, evil and weak.
In an instance, we found out that BN is still the choice for suburban and small townships. BN only lost to the urban voters and also the Chinese. We also know that those who lives outside big cities still relies on traditional media, while those who lives in the cities rely on social media, that is the internet.
What is the meaning of this?

Voters who rely on traditional media will choose BN but those who listen, watch and read via social media will choose PR.

Why is that? It is because BN Social Media are not able to take on the perception of ‘corrupt, lazy, weak, evil and stupid that has been labelled by the opposition. Even though the BN social media has tried to work hard to answer these entire false allegation made by the Pakatan Rakayat, the results is truly unsatisfactory.
Why BN are not able to tackle this issue?

Accept the fact that the people of Malaysia are not able to read the hidden message on every political writings and media. They failed to identify whether it is genuine or an attack to a person or a party. Some of these political writings are intended to destroy or build someone’s characters. We hope that Malaysians are able to identify such things.

Some Malaysian loves to compare opposition news portal that are much more serious rather than pro-government blog that are sometimes too relaxed and commercial. All of these factors help to improve the perception that BN is corrupt, full of “yes” man, stupid, low mentality and even indecent (putting indecent picture of women in blogs).

Even if the opposition social media shows something that is 100% lies and delirious facts, people still considered it as a genuine news portal as there are no ‘slapstick’ elements or side entertainment like many pro-government website.

This situation is reversed in the side of traditional media. Harakah or Suara Keadilan is a regular user of stupid perception, no credibility and habitual liar. Because of that, the opposition are not able to get votes from those who are getting their information in the traditional media.
In conclusion, if BN wants to win the perception wars, BN must show the correct attitude towards the social media.  We must show that the Barisan Nasional supporters have high integrity, mature and intelligent in speaking out our mind.

It is not impossible to win the perception wars as we are ready to fight the opposition fictions with our facts.

PM meeting Anwar Ibrahin in Jakarta: Opposition’s portal continues to lie.‏

The people of Malaysia had just digested the result of the 13th general election when suddenly there were rumours that the Prime Minister Najib Razak was secretly meeting Anwar Ibrahim in Jakarta. The news was spread by the Malaysian Insider; a pro-opposition portal went viral in other social media websites.

It was alleged that the meeting was to arrange a win-win situation for BN and PR in the next 14th general election. The portal stated that the meeting was an effort made by Najib Razak so that in the next general election, BN would not suffer the same fate, or worst ending up losing the country.

Even though the general election has ended with the defeat of the Pakatan Rakyat, the opposition is still using the same strategy which is lying and cheating to gain the people’s support. The opposition clearly understands that their strategy was the main reason why the opposition lost.

Some people might say that the bigger the lie, the easier for others to believe it. However, one must remember, that once the people know that they are lying, Malaysian will never believe them even if they speak the truth.

We appreciate that the government fast action to address the lies made by the Malaysian Insider. Najib Razak himself steps forward in making a statement to state the truth about this particular matter.

According to the Prime Minister, he did not have any plans of meeting the De Facto Leader of the People’s Justice Party. In fact, Anwar was in Jakarta at the same time Najib was there. There were no meetings what so ever.

In addition to that, Anwar himself denied the allegation by the Malaysian Insider in his twitter portal.
This shows that pro-opposition portal publish too many false stories and that had made them habitual liars. They are ever quick to jump into an issue without noting the real facts or identifying their sources. This whole episode should be a grim remainder to all Malaysian’s so that they will not succumb to the lies of the opposition in the future.

In the same time, the government has to take appropriate action so that every lies that is spread by the opposition, must be dealt seriously. We should not allow half-truth stories spread because it can create a perception that the stories are true.

Under Najib, Umno Reforms Herald a Modern, Transparent Party

Umno Executive Secretary Abdul Rauf Yusoh has revealed that the party will be using a secure card scanner system to determine voter eligibility during internal elections later this year.

It is thought that up to 150,000 members will play their part in deciding whether to award a further mandate to Umno President Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

At the last party election, in 2009, only 2,500 delegates were able to vote for office bearers, with even stricter conditions imposed on election candidates before they were permitted to stand.

But like Malaysia, Umno under Najib has seen a raft of reforms implanted in order to provide more transparency and further the democratic processes of party governance.

The reforms, particularly on issues such as voter security may be seen as a slap in the face of parties like DAP where internal election processes have faced public and embarrassing scrutiny after the CEC election fiasco last December.

That Umno is promising more transparency in its party elections than the supposedly 'Democratic' Action Party is a strong sign that the reforms led by Najib are making a positive impact.

"The election will be more complex and challenging because it is in line with the reforms which we decided upon three years ago," he said earlier this month.

To that end, Abdul Rauf said that the party would go on a road show in which it could explain the benefits of the new system to its members.

"This is the first time that the system will include the divisional and branch level following the amendment to the Umno constitution on the party election process," he said.

"The system is to ensure that members who are eligible can attend the meetings to elect the grassroots committee and supreme council members."

Abdul Rauf's announcement comes on the back of a fresh boost of support for Najib from Kedah Umno where a solid endorsement was given for the mooted 'no-contest' proposal of the party's top two spots.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has also joined in, lending his influence to the same no-contest proposal.

Even if the proposal gains no ground, that so many Umno members and leaders are happy with the leadership provided by Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his Deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin suggests a good future for the pair and ultimately Malaysia.

"We want Najib and Muhyiddin to soldier on as the Umno president and deputy president respectively without any contest. This will allow them to proceed with the party's transformation agenda," explained Kedah State Umno Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah.

"Kedah Umno also believes preparations for the next general election should start now and the no-contest move will allow our president and deputy to come out with better strategies for the party's future."

It is Time to Be an Opposition Leader, forget GE 13.

It is widely understood within Pakatan Rakyat and outside of the Opposition pact that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has long felt more comfortable with street protest than with ordinary party politics and leadership. For over a decade, he has been a potent symbol of the DAP's and PAS' allegations, regardless of their veracity, and as a reward, they have even allowed him to be the Opposition leader for very close to five years now.

Yet his complete failure to accomplish very much in uniting the Opposition, and his obvious weaknesses of style and leadership, may very well cost him even that.

It is now being widely reported that permanent MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has been in constant contact with DAP and PAS leadership, as well as certain alleged Borneo MPs, to determine whether he has the votes needed to become Prime Minister. Even as the reports of high-level contacts with PAS and DAP – with whom Ku Li was allied after the Umno Team A/Team B battle in 1987 – continue, it is also reported that Pakatan have not yet committed to the potential Umno renegade's project.

It is not hard to decode what this means: Anwar refuses to contemplate any scenario in which he would not be Prime Minister, and so PKR will not commit to this project.

The Ku Li story has been reported as a threat to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, yet it is much more immediately a threat to Anwar and his standing in Pakatan, and a reminder that his infatuation with street protests rather than leadership has left him entirely expendable.

It is also a reminder that if Karpal Singh, Lim Kit Siang and Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang could mercilessly abandon their principles to embrace Anwar after two decades of vilifying him, they are certainly capable of dropping him like so much rotten fruit at the first opportunity.

It is now clearly time for Anwar to actually be what he claims he is: a real Opposition leader, not just a YB with a penchant for street rallies. He must not only convince his alliance that they cannot win without him (despite the fact that it is not clear they can win with him), he must also convince them that abandoning him would ruin any chance they have at Putrajaya.

He must strive to be the statesman he would have everyone believe. His party must end its post-election antics and instead turn to responsible governance, outlining plans for redelineation, electoral reform, economic reform and the fight against corruption beyond a broad hatred of Umno. A real shadow cabinet would be a good idea, as well.

This sort of statesmanship and competence have not been immediately apparent in Anwar for some time, and there is every reason to doubt they exist. Yet for Anwar's sake, he must try to find those lost arts, and soon.

An Anwar seen as a competent and responsible statesman would be a weapon too valuable for Pakatan to put aside. An Anwar who lives for the next mass protest is a useful clown who can be abandoned at a whim.

It is up to Anwar to decide which he is.

As New Pakatan Protest Rally Approaches, Signs of Lost Control Multiply

The manner in which it seems as if PKR's intemperate rhetoric about electoral fraud and its seemingly endless rallies have unleashed a tiger in the form of NGOs and grassroots who took them seriously. We noted at the time that PAS and the DAP have long experience in managing their grassroots, and so have been able to accept the election results and move forward with the task of governance.

PKR, however, is and for as long as he lives will be the party of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and so lacks the institutional competence to understand how far matters may be pressed. Matters were clearly becoming shambolic when various Pakatan Rakyat-aligned NGOs began calling on the Opposition to boycott Parliament. As noted at the time, this demand was perfectly reasonable if you believed Pakatan's ridiculous notion that the election was stolen – if the elections were stolen, Parliament is illegitimate, and it is morally and legally wrong to pretend otherwise.

This forced PKR into a complicated series of promises and climb-downs that ultimately ended with PKR's political officers voting unanimously to be sworn into Parliament, a move that likely confused those of their supporters who thought Keadilan serious about allegations of fraud rather than simply working up outrage to compel Anwar into Putrajaya.

This near-miss has not caused Pakatan's leadership to contemplate whether it might be wiser to tamp down the rhetoric; or if it has, they fear the consequences of such a move too much to stop. Thus, yet another Black 505 rally is planned for Saturday, ostensibly for Padang Merbok and in apparent violation of the Peaceful Assembly Act.

Yet six weeks after GE13, some of Pakatan Rakyat's most fervent supporters at online portals and outside have begun to ask whether there is some point to all of these rallies and assemblies, with hard work yet to be done. Perhaps most pressing is the redelineation exercise set for later in the year – a simple majority can set new boundaries for various seats, but experts agree that only a two-thirds majority can create new seats, as doing so will require constitutional changes.

Pakatan Rakyat does not command a two-thirds majority. Only by working with Barisan Nasional and showing seriousness of purpose will Pakatan have any say in new seats – and yet doing these things will be a slap in the face to those supporters whom they have convinced that working with BN is not many steps removed from treason.

Yet failing to work on new seats will leave BN to simply set new boundaries on its own and forego the addition of any new seats – something that will undercut Pakatan's message that only BN gerrymandering allowed the coalition to win GE13.

Yet the rally set for Saturday shows no signs of disappearing, and so Pakatan must now somehow lower the fires it has set – or be burned, one way or another.

Najib’s Boost For Small Business is Another Manifesto Pledge Fulfilled

In the six weeks since GE13, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim have taken divergent paths which tell us much about the two men.

Anwar has been roaming the land bleating about alleged cheating at the ballot box despite the key piece of evidence to the contrary – that his coalition made gains at GE13.

He has been recklessly calling for a Parliamentary boycott, an idea that has already run out of steam, and has demanded the sacking of the Election Commission. Throughout it all, he has been blind to the fact few people now support his increasingly tedious argument.

In total contrast Najib is doing what he said he'll do – getting on with running the country. He emerged bruised from the poll but vowed that there would be "no sulking" on his side of the fence (take note Anwar) and turned immediately to the critical first 100 days of the new Government in which his new cabinet is being forced to directed their energies forwards, instead of looking backwards to what is now political history.

And it is important for this new team to show that they getting on with it. This year, 155 programmes aimed at benefiting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will be implemented by his Government and this is yet another BN manifesto pledged fulfilled. These programmes are valued at RM18.4 billion and will benefit 465,000 firms.

This is an important sector for because Najib because he, as much as anyone, recognises that as our economy develops small business will play an increasingly important role and SMEs are set to become the biggest employer in Malaysia by the year 2020.

The boost to the SME programme was announced by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar.

"This is an increase from the 133 programmes implemented last year, involving about RM7 billion and benefited more than 430,000 SMEs across all sectors," he said, reading a speech on behalf of Najib at the SME Annual Showcase 2013.

"The increase in allocations this year, including RM8 billion of private sector funding, is a strong head start for the private sector-led economy we envision for Malaysia. The government becomes more of a facilitator and mediator, and private enterprise takes charge," he added.

Wahid Omar knows more than anyone the problems faced by small business in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. The Maybank chief saw how recoiling banks cut off the supply of credit to SMEs and the damage it caused.

But now he is part of a Government that can do something positive to help SMEs and in the process, is reminding the rakyat that the Government is getting on with the job it was elected to do.

Anwar really needs to take note.

Karpal Tries to Defuse Boycott Debacle by Showing DAP’s Relative Maturity

DAP National Chairman Karpal Singh denied on Saturday that his party's grassroots leaders had called for a boycott of the swearing-in ceremony of the Dewan Rakyat on June 24.

"All Pakatan MPs will be attending the ceremony except for those who can't attend. They can always come within six months," he said, trying to patch up the damage triggered by his PKR allies over the past fortnight.

"I don't think there should be any (boycotting). You have been elected and you have to be responsible. To my knowledge, all including the PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will attend the Parliament sitting."

His words came just days after House Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia hit back at those 'mulling' a boycott by reminding those that did not attend in protest that they would be disqualified from Parliament if they kept up the shenanigans.

"MPs will have six months to take their oath and until such time, those who fail to do so would be barred from participating in parliamentary proceedings," he said after the parliamentary briefing on Tuesday afternoon.

If Karpal is to be believed that none of DAP's grassroots leaders had made plans to boycott the ceremony, then this should be taken as a positive sign of the party's relative maturity – at least compared to their erstwhile allies in PKR and PAS.

Earlier, the PAS Information Chief Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (no doubt a busy man since GE13), tried to explain that just because some of the party's key leaders had decided to stay away from Anwar's Black 505 rallies, it did not signify that they were disloyal to the cause.

"Not attending does not turn the leaders into traitors, they still do support. I am confident that there are no leaders who do not support the cause," he told Sinar Harian.

PAS Vice President Husam Musa had said dejectedly that any party leader who did not attend the rally in Kelantan was "carrying the voice of Umno," after Deputy President Mohamad Sabu issued instructions for the top members to attend.

"Everyone abides by the party's instruction but I am confident that some leaders who did not attend... had prior commitments or were worn-out," Tuan Ibrahim said, perhaps a little unconvincingly.

It must be a worrying time for the Opposition if PAS has to take a lesson on maturity from the DAP.

Najib to students: Don't reject government by believing in opposition's lies

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has reminded Malaysian students overseas not to fall for opposition lies to the extent of not supporting the government. The prime minister said the slander and lies spread by the opposition during the recent general election had created a wrong perception of the government to the extent that some students also believed them.

"Until today, there is no proof of the opposition's claim that we (Barisan Nasional) had brought in 40,000 Bangladeshis (to vote for BN).

"This was slander and a very big lie in the general election this time.
"That's why I ask, are people not able to think (that it's illogical)? It has turned out that some people cannot think wisely, even lawyers can't," said Najib, who questioned the people's level of intelligence and rationality over such issues.

He was speaking at a luncheon with Malaysian students in Indonesia at the Malaysian embassy in Kuningan, here, Sunday.

Najib is here on a personal visit to meet a number of Indonesian leaders who are close to him, and for a rest after GE13.

He urged the students to think rationally whether it was possible for BN to bring in 40,000 Bangladeshis to vote for the ruling coalition as claimed.
He said this require 100 jumbo planes to fly them to Malaysia and 1,000 buses to bring them to the polling stations.

He said the opposition's claim was absurd as it would also be difficult for BN to hide Bangladesh nationals in Malaysia as their appearance was different from most Malaysians.
"I, as the BN chairman, strongly refute that there was cheating by BN (in the GE13) as alleged.
"The general election was conducted in a fair manner and in accordance with the law and regulations."

Najib said Barisan had carried out a lot transformation in terms of delivery over the last four years and had validly won GE13, but it lost in the war of perception because of the slander and lies churned out by the opposition through the alternative media, which many people believed in more than the truth provided by the mainstream media.

"For the next general election, BN must equip itself well to fight in the war of perception. In reality, we have delivered, as Malaysia is increasingly prosperous and a good example for many countries, but perceived otherwise by some quarters.

"The war of perception is thus the biggest challenge for BN," he said.

Police to conduct hourly patrols throughout the day at ATM locations

The police will conduct round-the-clock hourly patrols nationwide to prevent break-ins at automated teller machines (ATM).

National Key Results Area (NKRA) chairman Datuk Wira Ayub Yaakob said motorbike and car patrol units will carry out the patrols and report to the district control rooms on an hourly basis immediately.

Speaking at the launch of Ops Tawan Bukit Aman at the KLCC shopping mall, he said the patrol units would be fully accountable for any robberies or break-ins during their shifts. On another development, Ayub said the proposal for separate pedestrian and motorbike lanes as an initiative to reduce street crime was still under discussion.

"We have received Kuala Lumpur City Hall's (DBKL) response on the matter. But the proposal has to be studied further, including its impact on the society," he said.

According to Ayub, based on statistics, crimes involving motorbikes made up 50 percent of the national crime index and the proposal was seen as a method to reduce the rate.

"For example, motorbike thefts is a major component of the national crime index and if we zoned them to certain areas maybe such crimes can be controlled," he said.

Is Pakatan Rakyat Losing Control?

In the midst of their protests, internal disputes over the governance of their remaining states, and arguments about boycotting Parliament, we are seeing proof that the rakyat was wise to deny Pakatan Rakyat Putrajaya. It is now apparent that the Opposition pact has managed to lose control over its own movement.

The signs have been there since just after the elections, though they have accelerated of late. Perhaps the most glaring indication that things had gone amiss was when various Pakatan-aligned NGOs began calling on the Opposition to boycott Parliament. This demand was perfectly reasonable if you believed Pakatan's ridiculous notion that the election was stolen – if the elections were stolen, Parliament is illegitimate, and it is morally and legally wrong to pretend otherwise.

It is of course madness of its own sort. The DAP and PAS have long experience in managing the expectations of their aligned elements in civil society, but Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, whose only real influence comes from street protest, fumbled and briefly seemed to endorse the idea.

This led to Pakatan Rakyat being – once again – split on an important issue and – once again – in need of a stage-managed climb-down. Poor Tian Chua, Anwar's latest decoy, went to the rakyat to explain that Anwar had only been considering the idea. Pakatan staged a boycott of a more or less meaningless introductory event, and then PKR held an emergency meeting to avoid boycotting the swearing-in.

Just as it seemed all of this had finally come under control (with the Bersih 2.0 movement and others grumbling because it seemed as if the Opposition was trying to have matters both ways), another crack in the dam appeared. After a month in which Anwar held illegal rallies but carefully avoided illegal street protests – a fine line on which his newest protégé, Rafizi Ramli, has been dancing of late – Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan is now calling for street protests.

Ambiga has been fairly obviously in Pakatan's corner since at least the Opposition pact's convention over a year ago, when she was a prized speaker who lent her credibility to the affair. The wake of Bersih 3.0, which saw a peaceful protest transform into an attack on the police, further dinged her credibility.

Yet although not the force she once was, she still commands a great deal of attention and influence, and she is now deviating from the official line. Worse, she is so clearly associated with Pakatan Rakyat that it will be very hard to say that she is not acting on their authority.

Pakatan's game of court challenges and carefully managed protests relied on complete control of the process. If they should lose control completely, they will lose any chance they may have of appearing to be a responsible political movement.

This is the danger of crying fraud and cheating over every electoral loss. It will be interesting to watch the Opposition trying to manage it.

Shameless Ambiga’s Final Salvo Off Her Sinking Ship

Ambiga Sreenevasan was never going to make a quiet, or for that matter a dignified exit from her largely superfluous Bersih movement.

But she has truly outdone herself with her self-serving and harmful calls for the rakyat to take to the streets for the sake of her publicly-stated cause – poll reform – and her unstated cause – her ego – which has grown gargantuan with every public spectacle to date.

"Our fight for electoral reform will continue. Our People's Tribunal will proceed," she said, referring to her latest creation, the so-called "People's Tribunals", which will sit in belated judgement of GE13.

This means Ambiga and her friends on her panel will be looking back into the past while Datuk Seri Najib Razak's Parliamentary committee will be looking ahead - reforming the Election Commission like never before in its history.

It will assemble with MPs from both sides of politics and will hear carefully weighted submissions in an open forum. It will then make recommendations to the Government that will prove no Malaysian institution is immune from the forces of transformation.

Can Ambiga's little stunt team deliver that? Not a chance.

But back to her latest plans. Ambiga says public protest could be the way forward because "protest may be the only option".

As usual, her position is wrong for so many reasons.

Firstly, she is out of step with popular sentiment. As Datuk Seri Anwar's Ibrahim's flagging campaign to discredit GE13 is proving; the public want to move on. And so do the MPs who aren't interested in a boycott of the swearing in ceremony – yet another half-baked protest idea that is failing to gain traction.

The next thing is Ambiga is failing to realise is that she is not the same force for mass action that she used to be. Last year her infamous 8T concert drew just 500 people and this year her "dirtiest election ever" prophecy fell flat when Pakatan Rakyat made gains at GE13. Opposition parties don't make gains in dirty elections.

Worse still her old friend Karpal Singh undermined her cause when he announced that that Government's voting reforms "look alright".

One has to question Ambiga's motives for such a lame last stand. Perhaps she is already missing the limelight and knows the way to get her name back in the news is to shakes thing up in this way by fomenting revolt. Make no mistake that if you turn up to one of her protests you are stroking her ego and undermining our democracy at the same time.

It's time to go Ambiga! You promised us you'd leave Bersih behind so please live up to that promise and disappear. Malaysia has moved on – something you are clearly unable to do.

The Battle of the Races or the Battle Within One Race?‏

The war of the political parties is barely ended by the GE-13 but another battle is already taking shape.  If the GE-13 could be referred as a war between the Chinese and the Malays, this new war is between the neo-liberal Malays and the ordinary Malays.

The neo-liberals are referred to those being born in silver platters, served with silver spoons and having blue blood flowing in their veins.  Their mums and dads and grandpas and grandmas usually belonged to the group of elites – the big-shots and royalties and their counterparts from the days of the British colonization.   Ironically, these elites are also the pioneers of UMNO who fought with their hearts and souls for the Malays and Independence.

But we learned now that nationalism and patriotism aren’t something that can be inherited.

Today, the sons and daughters or grandsons and grand-daughters of these elites somehow had missed the points in their older generations’ struggles and fights.  Having access to further education and the world, these new generations of the elites almost definitely would become successful.  They went overseas and came back as lawyers, doctors, professors, accountants and quite a number of them, joined the GLCs.

In the meantime, the Chinese and Indians who have been given easier access to education by the British, continues to prosper and advance along with the elite Malays.  And so, the non-Malays and elite Malays become friends, best friends and buddies in schools right to universities.  The elite Malays who are naturally naïve and lack of surviving skills, believe with all their hearts that these non-Malay friends of theirs are really, truly good friends and as naïve and as true as they are.

The ordinary Malays, however, are forced to continue to struggle for a better life, struggling even to master English with very little exposure to the real world.

Fortunately, there is New Economic Policy (NEP), which was set up, mainly by the older generation of the elites who most naturally were then, the leaders of the country.

The policy proved to be successful in helping the ordinary Malays to stand as tall as today.   It managed to create talented engineers in mechanical, electrical, electronics, as well as highly qualified financial or business or marketing managers and strategists.  Latest, we also see the newer generations that had benefited from the NEP having the chance to achieve their dreams of becoming geologists, IT or graphic engineers and exploring new technologies such as nanotech, biotech and the sorts.

Unlike the new generation of the elites who ended up opening their own firms or joined the GLCs and become successful people, these new generations of smart, ordinary Malays usually ended-up in private sectors as working class people.

Of course, there are also those who joined the government sectors and also politics – from both ordinaries and neo-liberals, either by choice or by ‘no-choice’, but being in the same sectors doesn’t mean that these two groups are able to ‘see eye-to-eye’ in many aspects of life.

The elites who joined the government sectors usually end-up as high ranking officers or even Ministers and Senators but never at the bottom, while the ordinaries, end-up everywhere from top to bottom.

These two groups of Malays remain skeptical and prejudice over one another.  The ordinaries look at the neo-liberals as traitors, even lost souls who failed to stay connected to their roots that they finally lost touch to the ground.

The neo-liberals on the other hand, call the ordinaries backward and stupid.  All the time the neo-liberals think and feel superior than the ordinaries for their ability to stand at par with the non-Malays.

But the truth is that these neo-liberals are trapped in the colonial days where they continue to worship everything that looks, smells and sounds ‘western’.  They are so insecure with their own roots that they need to impress their non-Malay friends in order to be accepted.

If they have to sip wine to fit in, they would.  Then they would make themselves believe that, that it is what is called ‘open mindedness’ even ‘successfulness’.  They refused to acknowledge their culture and language as that would mean backward and stupid like their fellow brother of the ordinary Malays.

The neo-liberals are forever unaware or pretend to be unaware of the facts that their non-Malay friends are only nice to them because they are deemed as ‘usable’ or  ‘necessary’ in order to secure government projects.

As hurtful as this may sound, I’m sure deep inside the hearts of the neo-liberals, they know for a fact that the non-Malays have never respected them in a true sense. The neo-liberals are being labeled by their non-Malay friends as government cronies and that their success is not genuine for they didn’t have to work as hard as their counterparts from other races.  They are also being laughed behind their back by the non-Malays for so easily manipulated by compliments and fake respect.  The non-Malays see them as ‘stupid’ for very willingly sell off their own brothers and sisters, even disown their culture and language for the sake of ‘fitting-in’ with the more successful race.

We feel sorry for the neo-liberals for they really think that they are being highly regarded by society, while the fact is that they are the lowest possible kind there could ever be in any race – they are the real pariahs.

If only they take some time and ask why their non-Malay friends are only nice to them, but not to Syed Mokhtar AlBukhary or to ‘Mydin’ who have proven to be more competent and being listed among the most outstanding Malaysians, then they would know that they are not as smart as they think they are.

Now, this is a fact that the neo-liberals would never dare to ponder:-  Should they come back from overseas and worked in private sectors, they would find that they will never have a chance to soar as high, because they would be brushed-off as incompetent by the non-Malays who hold the top management posts, no matter if they are the most hard-working and smartest employee there is.  And bear in mind that even if the top management are the neo-liberals’ best buddy in school, the loyalty of the non-Malays are to their race first, not friends.

Be informed that the non-Malays would never give the Malays a fair chance, what more dare to compete on a level-ground because they are never as ‘kind’, ‘open-minded’, or ‘unracists’ as they claimed to be.  And they know for a fact that the ordinary Malays, if given chance, would be able to soar higher and their success would be genuine which could be a real threat to the non-Malays’ share of the economic cake.  This is because, the ordinary Malays are not as naïve or easily misled and manipulated like the neo-liberals into giving up their everything.

And so, the non-Malays let the few neo-liberals fight against the ordinary Malays while they sit back and enjoy bigger and bigger share of the economic cake that the neo-liberals are feeding them from the plate of the ordinary Malays.

And this is ‘the’ fight that we have to face.  That is, the fight within ourselves and our race – the Malays.  The fight to rid of the insecurities and stand tall as our true selves without shame.  The fight to understand that the real shame lies in the inability to accept own roots, and not otherwise.

Ku-Li Is Not Fit To Be The President of UMNO.

There are rumours saying that Gua Musang MP, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (Ku-Li) will challenge the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as the President of UMNO in the next UMNO party election. A lot of people are talking about this rumour and many of them believe that this is somewhat true.
Blogs and facebook pages are starting to focus on the issue. Some supported the idea, while others are against it.

As a party that based on democracy, Ku-Li’s ambition of becoming the President is not wrong. However, in the same time we have to remember that, the President of UMNO is also the President of Barisan Nassional. Ku-Li will have to hold two positions at the same time.

This is a battlefield where Ku-Li needs to prove his worth to show that he can lead the Barisan Nasional without any problems in the future. Ku-Li shall definitely be accepted by the Malays that make up 100% of the members  in UMNO, but can the component party of Barisan Nasional accept Ku-Li?
It is important to be reminded that Barisan Nasional is the one who will be contesting in the election and not UMNO.

At the age of 76, we are certain that not all of us feel that Ku-Li has what it takes to be an effective UMNO President and the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Ku-Li loves to look back, rather than looking forward to the future. After, the 1988 UMNO crisis, Ku-Li registered his own party the “Semangat 46” reliving the spirit of the old UMNO.

The Malays do not need the old UMNO spirit, at that particular time (Semangat 46), as we are not worshipping the spirits (paddy spirits, sea spirit and many other supernatural powers associated with the spirit world) to get what we want in the real world. The Malays need to change the economic and political aspect of their lives to change the destiny of their race.

Talking about the Semangat 46, maybe not many of us know the fact that Ku-Li have to conjure two opposition pacts to chellenge Barisan Nasional after looking at the victory of PAS and Semangat 46 taking over the Kelantan government in the 1990 general election. The two opposition parties are “Angkatan Perpaduan Ummah (APU)” and “Gagasan Rakyat”.

The APU is a party consisting the Malay/Islam (PAS, Berjasa. HAMIM, KIMMA) while the Gagasan Rakyat (DAP and PRM) is a group of secular parties consist of non-muslim political leaders.

Why did he set up two opposition pact according to the beliefs and race of their members? It is because Ku-Li are not fit enough to unite all of the position at that time, in the same platform. Semangat 46 is a clone to UMNO with Ku-Li is seen as an Ultra Malays similar to Datuk Ibrahim Ali and the PERKASA.
Barisan Nasional does not need an ultra-Malay leader. Barisan Nasional needs a moderate leader that can handle the the rights and needs of the Malaysian people disregarding their race or religion.

In short, we do not think that Ku-Li does not fit to be  a leader of a multiracial party, similar to the Barisan Nasional, considering his past political achievement.

The most important that we all need to realise is that Ku-Li is not a well adapt leader and he cannot cope with the current situation. He will not be able to lead the Barisan Nasional or Malaysia in this new and age.

Anwar the Flip Flop Icon:

Since Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi resigned from our nation political scene in 2009 the word ‘flip flop’ is closely related to him. But now, there are no more stories about our ‘beloved’ Pak Lah.
Pak Lah was known as the ‘Flip Flop’ icon because he keeps changing important decision during the era of his reign.

Now, times have changed. Pak Lah is no longer the flip flop icon; the title should be conferred to the most notorious ex-Sungai Buloh prisoner, Anwar Ibrahim. Ironically, Anwar Ibrahim the only opposition leader in the world suggested that Pak Lah should stay as the Prime Minister thus trying to prevent Datuk Seri Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak (our current PM) from taking over the seat.

What about some proof you might say? Well, recent events show that Anwar’s decision to boycott the first parliamentary seating in 2013. The decision was later denied by Deputy PKR President, Azmin Ali and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders. Looking at the current development, many elected parliamentary members from the Pakatan Rakyat disagree with Anwar. To salvage what’s left of his so called integrity; Anwar will organize a press conference, and say that he will attend the parliamentary meeting. He will say that he did it because the Pakatan Rakyat respects the DYMM Yang Dipertuan Agong.

Even though we know Anwar is playing his typical drama, the statement he made does not want Anwar to be portrayed in a bad light. They will find ways to defend Anwar.

If we look closely Pak Lah and Anwar Ibrahim are just two peas in a pod. They are not fit to even lead a group of boy scouts, not to mention to have them as the leader of your nation.

If Anwar Ibrahim becomes the Prime Minister, more flip flop decision on the way for us Malaysians. Anwar have to follow the demand of the people, if he does not want his past stories to be dug by his ever expanding political enemies.

People like Karpal Singh, Azmin Ali and many of his Pakatan Rakyat comrades are eyeing him. His every move will be criticized.
We hope that, all of the opposition supporters act rationally and give more than a one over assessment to any of the issue brought by both sides. Just because your leader is Anwar Ibrahim, you close your mental faculty; follow each and every words of Anwar Ibrahim without thinking.

Open your eyes open your heart and listen to reason.

Not Even One Pakatan Rakyat’s Petition Mentioned Election Fraud:

Right after Barisan Nasional was announced by the Election Commission as the winning party for the last PRU13, the opposition are organizing a massive movement to deny the win that with all kinds of allegation. They told the people of Malaysia that the EC and BN conspired to win the election by fraudulent measures. Among the act accused by the Pakatan Rakyat is the cooperation between the government and the EC, phantom voters, blackout etc.

Similar to the communist propaganda unit, the Pakatan Rakyat spread the accusation and uses the famous repeated exposure technique, to ensure Malaysians from all walks of life would believe their lies. Yesterday was the last day to send petition to the Election Commission. The Pakatan Rakyat filed 34 election petitions. What strange is, none of these petition state anything about fraudulent misconduct of Barisan Nasional during the election. From what we know, none of the petition says anything about phantom voters, blackout and such. It was informed that, majority of the petition states issues such as the usage of indelible ink, corruption and buying votes.

At the same time, the opposition are organizing rallies and campaigning that the Barisan Nasional cheated in the last election, with 40,000 Bangladeshi were brought in by using hundreds of plane from Sabah and Sarawak to vote for Barisan Nasional for the past PRU. They have also emphasized that blackouts occur in Bentong and other places in many voting districts so that some parties were able to add more ballot box. Some even say that these ballot boxes were thrown out from helicopters.
Many of these rallies used “Blackout” as themes that is held nationwide, and the leaders of Pakatan Rakyat wearing black as a sign saying that the blackout happened and the current government cheated in the last election.

We believe that these accusations are baseless as if there is any truth to their words, why all the allegation are not stated in any of the petitioned filed to the EC? Even the sensationalized phantom voters are not stated in any of the petitioned.

It seems like the Pakatan Rakyat do not have the guts to bring their accusation to the court of law. The lies are carefully crafted only to influence the people to hate the existing government. No proof has been brought either to the court or to the media about their accusation.

The opposition of Malaysia consist of leaders who are masters of deceit and lies.  They will continue to preach to the public that the current Malaysian government is some sort of monster. And they are saying to the people that only they can slay this monster. However, they are the real monsters. Terrorising and deceiving the Malaysian people into making them the leaders of this country.

May God protect us from the lies of the devil and grant us the right path so all of us will not go astray.

IS ANWAR PLANNING THE BEGINNING OF ARAB SPRING AFTER COURT GIVE OUT THEIR RULINGS?

SO the battle in court of law has begun with Pakatan Rakyat (PR) filing suits against the Election Commission (EC) for purported irregularities, fraud and cheats that made them the loser in the recently concluded 13th general election.

In a few weeks, the court will begin hearing the cases and by one or two months’ time, we will know the rulings.
Very interesting because the democratic process of election, a political system that has been practiced since Independent and in developed countries, practiced before we Malaysians gained Independence, is now under trial in the court.

All because of one man Anwar Ibrahim who claimed the ruling BN and EC got together to cheat the oppositions of their victory – one wonders why only Anwar when PAS and DAP had accepted the result and the two parties have been participating in the election decades ago before PKR was born.
Malaysians and the whole world know Anwar is a sore loser as his ambition to be the Prime Minister was so very near but yet was very far when the result of the general election was announced with BN emerging as victor.

Anwar had been feeding the foreign media and of course his ‘foreign masters’ that he was on the winning streak but had to change the story when the official result was announced for fear of being abandoned and left alone.

To make his story more realistic, he got his people to organize rallies around the country claiming of frauds and cheats in the general election so that his ‘foreign masters’ will believe him and not abandon him.
Then he got his people and the parties to file cases in the court which, to the eyes of foreigners, is the truth because if a person lie, he would go to such extent.

Now Malaysians who know his lies and bluffs wonder – will he accept the rulings of the courts?
If the courts rule that EC is on the right track – meaning no frauds and cheats – will Anwar accept that?
Or will he go to the streets in a big big way, bigger than the present rallies, to denounce the courts’ rulings? Will he tell Malaysians and the world and of course, his foreign masters that the courts are bias and take sides?

Will this rallies denouncing the courts rulings the real beginning of the ‘Arab Spring’ that he had wanted all along because democratically, he already knew Malaysians rejected him.
The police and relevant authorities should be wary of this man’s action and should act before the streets become Anwar’s platform to topple the duly elected government of the day.

All eyes on Bakri’s MP.

Many parties in the Pakatan Rakyat are urging the DAP to take stern action against Bakri MP, Er Teck Hwa because of his stupidity for attending the Parliamentary briefing in the Parliament building yesterday.

Teck Hwa stated that he did not read the e-mail and sms that was sent to him by the Pakatan Rakyat central community. Even if Teck Hwa is confused, he could have taken the liberty to call other Pakatan Rakyat parliamentary members before making the decision to attend the said briefing.

Even if the DAP have announced that they will take stern action, the Pakatan Rakyat seen the party as acting too slow to punish a MP. Up till now, the disciplinary committee is not taking any action against Teck Hwa.

We are informed that Teck Hwa is not actually the brightest of the DAP bunch. He is an idiot to say the least. He was elected in 2008 and now it is his second term as an MP. It is understood that Teck Hwa was elected again because the DAP did not want the only Johor MP won in 2008 is dropped in this election.

Teck Hwa is currently the black sheep of the DAP as he unintentionally destroy the reputation of DAP without him knowing it. It has been stated that the Pakatan Rakyat boycotted the briefing, but he insist of attending it, thus marred the image of the other 88 parliamentary members of Pakatan Rakyat.

Recently the Pakatan Rakyat has already resolve the issue with all of its component party members to boycott the briefing. And then came Teck Hwa ruining the accomplishment that they had just achieved by attending the briefing that was held for newly elected parliamentary members. The briefing was not for a second term MP like Teck Hwa.

It is crucial for Teck Hwa to be sacked from the DAP and left out to be an independent member of Pakatan Rakyat. With that, the DAP might remedy the ridiculous action taken by Teck Hwa. DAP would also uphold its integrity as a strict party that will not be corrupted neither by power nor stupidity. The DAP would retain its credibility if stern action is taken to an elected member of the parliament.

If DAP fails to address the Teck Hwa issue fast, it will put the DAP image in a bad light. DAP is no longer a strict and credible party, especially when there are too keen to keep their parliamentary seat. Currently the DAP is the highest seat holder among its Pakatan Rakyat counterparts.

Teck Hwa dismissal from the party will not have an effect on Pakatan Rakyat seat in the parliament. Although Teck Hwa is not a member of DAP he will always be a Pakatan Rakyat friendly MP. The DAP would not have to worry about Teck Hwa, and should impose strict punishment for his action.

The 13th GE Petition: Pakatan Rakyat Will Expose Their Own Fraud!

Pakatan Rakyat today stated that it will file 35 petition regarding 25 electoral seats that was won by them and 10 seats that was won by the Barisan Nasional. The cost of the proceeding is estimated for a whooping RM 1.5 Million.

It seems that, the decision to file these petitions was taken after the 505 Rally did not make a large impact. Lately, the Pakatan Rakyat action was mocked by Malaysian with their fairy tales on phantom voters, black outs and the failed indelible ink.

The Pakatan Rakyat hopes that these petition will enables them to reclaim their long lost honor and will also be used as argument points in their “ceramah’s” and blogs.

It is doubtful that these petitions will be able to muster enough support from the public and gave Pakatan Rakyat the political milage they need. However, even some Pakatan Rakyat members are saying that the petition is a double edge sword that can easily slice PKR if not handle correctly.

When the petition is filed, it will force the authority to investigate in details the election process, including the campaign and network the prior and post-election scenario. With that, we will hope that all of our question will be answered, especially the million dollar question on who gave Pakatan Rakyat their election funds.

Many of us are asking, from where Pakatan Rakyat obtains such a large amount of money to accommodate their grand campaign plan. They have started their campaign right after the 12th General Election and without any financial problems. We are not talking about stuff like posters, pamphlets and political ‘ceramahs’. We are talking about the usage of helicopters, a fully modified bus, private jet, bodyguards and many other things including paying of journalist and foreign lobbyist to show the bad side of Malaysia. Do not forget the expenses incur in the form of flags that is hung all over the nation. And do not forget their propaganda mechanism that works 24 hour, to attack the government and spread lies.

It is interesting to see that not all seats that are contested by the Pakatan Rakyat show the same kind of wealth as the others. Only some seats such as Lembah Pantai, Permatang Pauh, Gombak, Ampang, Bandar Tun Razak, Gelang Patah, Alor Seta, Bagan dan Kota Bharu. Other seats are only given some financial assistance that they need for their campaign.

We hope that the petition can answer some question about from where do all the “extra” Chinese voters come from, especially in big cities where won by an extremely large amount of majority DAP. We want to know, if there exist phantom voter among the Chinese.

We also need to know about the action of Pakatan Rakyat’s agents in doing their job during the election. Why don’t they act if they found out there are fraudulent misconduct during the election period? Or are they the one who are lying to us all these time?

Other than that, we wish to know how the Pakatan Rakyat attacked a voter that has lived all in Taman Cempaka for more than 30 years and accused them as phantom voters. Or how the post in Astro AEC host, Gan Jiang Han, on the “black outs” in Bentong received 73, 576 “like” in a matter of seconds. We also need to know, how state legislative assemblymen for Ketari Lee Chin Chen DAP, DAP Bilut, Chow Yu Hui denied that there was any electrical problems or ‘black outs’ in Bentong during the election process and during the counting of votes. Who is the liar? Two DAP assemblymen or Gan ?

We also need to see the proof of the 40,000 phantom voters from Bangladesh as accused by Anwar in his politically motivated public rallies even before the general election. Where are all of these Bangladeshi? Where did they vote?

What we do not know is that the petition that will be filed must not only be about the indelible ink, because it has been affirmed as a weakness, but not fraud. The petition needs to uphold Pakatan Rakyat’s accusation on two things, which is the phantom voters and also the electric disturbance.

Without two of this issues that has become the basis of the petition, Pakatan Rakyat, has proven to Malaysian and all their supporters that they are just a bunch of liars.

Do not forget that this petition cost the people of Malaysia, RM 1.5 million.
Thus, the people of Malaysia do not want to see a petty case about one or two isolated cases that does not carry any significance in the results for one or two seats. It has to have a big impact on the overall 13th general election results.
