LUMUT, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir says Pasir Panjang Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin has an unhealthy "mental habit" for making inappropriate statements as a leader.
Zambry said Mohamad Nizar liked to create controversy by posting offending statements even at a time when Muslims were celebrating the holy month of Ramadan.
"It is a mental habit with him and it is not suprising that he will continue making inappropriate statements or tweets without thinking of the repercussions," he said.
Zambry was speaking to reporters after attending a Ramadan and Aidilfitri charity programme where 109 senior citizens, five orphans and seven disabled received contributions at the Kampung Batu 3 community hall in Segari, here, today.
Nizar, the former Perak menteri besar was known for his provocative tweeting by questioning the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim's bid for the WWW 1 vehicle registration number worth RM520,000 on May 28.
Mohamad Nizar's act prompted 46 police reports as it was considered as an insult to the people and sovereignty of Johor.
Last Saturday, Mohammad Nizar caused a public stir when he posted another tweet:" 'Promises fulfilled', unfortunate independence celebration this year by BN cabinet, denting the spirit to fly the Jalur Gemilang, Jalur Malang! (Poor Jalur!)."
tunku : nizar is not only has bad mental habit but has a stupid brain. he can't differentiate between politic and patriotism. this type of man should be hang by his balls.
