S'gor MB: State civil servants to get same amount of bonus as Federal counterparts

SHAH ALAM: Civil servants in Selangor will get the same amount of Hari Raya bonus as their Federal counterparts.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the state government would ensure that civil servants in the state enjoy equality in terms of bonus payouts, if the Federal Government declares a bonus in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri next month.
“If the Federal staff gets it, so will the civil servants working in the state. This is not about one-upmanship.
“It will be the same (amount) because it relates to pension,” he told reporters at the state secretariat Monday.

tunku : why have to wait for federal government's announcement? pakatan said they are "negeri kebajikan" etc, they care for the people and whatsoever but when come time to help them they want to wait for BN's government decision first. you said your state's income has gone up tremendously under your administration, why just don't give the bonus or at least declare it right now? this clearly shows that they don't know how to manage, they just simply follow and copy others.
