Gerakan Wants Government To Punish Ibrahim Ali

GEORGE TOWN, June 21 (Bernama) -- Penang Gerakan Chief Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan wants the government to punish the president of Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) Datuk Ibrahim Ali because he frequently makes racial statements that cause tension, uneasiness and stress to the Chinese community.
Teng, who is also the Gerakan vice-president, said the government should immediately take steps, especially during this politically challenging time, to stop any individual or organization from making racist statements.
"The government should punish him and charge him under the Sedition Act, all the racist statements can stoke tension and affect the peace and harmony of the nation," he said in a statement released here today.
Ibrahim recently announced that Perkasa would hold a demonstration to counter the planned Bersih 2.0 street rally on July 9, and had called on the Chinese to stock up on food "as anything can happen".
Dr Teng also urged all Malaysians to support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's approach of moderation as the way forward and for the nation and people to continue to progress.

tunku : dr teng should think with his brain and get to know about the facts before opening his stinking mouth. kj too should think and find the facts before opening his stinking mouth as he too demanded the home ministry to act against ibrahim ali. malaysia insider has twisted ibrahim's statement. instead, dr teng should explain about one of the penang's gerakan leader wanting to join the bersih illegal rally. gerakan should look themselves in the mirror(losers).try to win back penang first. about bersih illegal rally and all the others illegal rallies on 9th july, again i demand the home ministry to arrest all the leaders under ISA, may they be from opposition or pro government.

What? Ibrahim Ali?

He should have insisted Namawee to be ISA'd first. That Ahbeng not only insulted the Malays and Bumiputras, he insulted the Muslims..

Apa, ingat kami mudah lupa ker?

Dr Teng is making all of us wonder about Gerakan's sincerity in the BN coalition. After what happened to Penang - and Pakatan's victorious win over the state (that Gerakan claimed to have administered well on behalf of BN) we grow more suspicious over their increasingly recalcitrant ways.

It is ironic that Dr Teng should single out Ibrahim Ali (who represents his own Perkasa NGO) and choose to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to Gerakan's own Baljit Singh, Bureau for Human Rights & Law who openly declared his intended participation with 10 other lawyers to supposedly ensure the constitutional right to a peaceful demonstration is abided.

"Peaceful demonstration"??? Is this guy off his rocker? How does 11 imbeciles hope to pacify 200 to 300 thousand emotional people on the streets? Be realistic and pragmatic. You're dealing with the uncertainty of human behaviour here. Who's to tell if these 11 don't turn 'amok' and go berserk changing a peaceful rally to an unruly one.

Dr Teng bears a strong resemblance to UMNO youth chief Khairy. First he gets Pemuda to file police reports to stop the demo. Then he joins in the bash and hits back at the government and BN administration. BN must seriously reconsider Gerakan's presence in the coalition. If there is any shred of evidence that Gerakan is involved in this Bersih rally, then they should be OUT of BN , period!

Waaa!!! They're so SHIT SCARED of Ibrahim Ali!!!

Apparently, it's ok for DAP and the rest of the non-malay NGOs to pass derogatory remarks abou UMNO and the Malays per se! Is that not RACIST???

But it's not ok when Malays fight back and defend the political stand of the Malays and Bumis. WHY???

It's so blatant this Malay and UMNO bashing done by the DAP, non-malay NGOs, even Bar Council..and now Gerakan! You racist fools talk about a free country and human rights for you and your kind - but Malays and Bumis are not supposed to have any???

So Ibrahim Ali! This is a free country and you can say WHATEVER you like. You too have fundamental rights i.e freedom of speech. Go and do your worse because these idiots are full of HORSE SHIT!!!

KJ can go to Hell! He's not even a Malay. That includes Kalimullah, his 'kaki' in Malaysian Insider who twisted your words. Be our guest and KICK HIS BUTT!!
