Three branches nominate Dr M

ALOR STAR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has won three nominations from Umno branches in Kubang Pasu to contest for a divisional delegate's post for the Umno General Assembly.
The former Umno president is thus eligible to vie to be one of the seven divisional delegates to the assembly, said Kubang Pasu Umno secretary Shamsudin Ahmad.
He, however, did not name the branches. An aspirant has to secure two nominations to be a divisional delegate.
There are 143 branches in the Kubang Pasu division.
“As to whether Dr Mahathir wants to contest or otherwise, it’s up to him to decide,” Shamsudin said.
Also nominated is Dr Mahathir’s son Datuk Mukhriz, who is Kubang Pasu Umno Youth
committee member. – Bernama

tunku : i think Tun should not contest anymore as we had seen last year how the kedah umno leaders(by the orders of .....) made sure that he will not win it but on the other hand it would be good if Tun go for it as we can be prepared and find all those evidence what mahadzir khalid, osman aroff would do like what they did last year.
