BN Focusing On Taking Over Kelantan - Radzi

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Bernama) -- Umno's election machinery is ready for the general election and the focus this time is to take over Kelantan from Pas, Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad said.
He said the current atmosphere in the state showed Barisan Nasional (BN) was in a comfortable position under Datuk Annuar Musa's leadership and it had gained better confidence compared to previously.
"The divisional leaderships also are ready for elections. They show willingness to work as a team. This is a good sign. I will continue to go there to maintain solidarity.
"If we can win in Kelantan, it's a big bonus for us," he told reporters after opening Seputeh Wanita Umno delegates conference here.
Radzi, who is BN secretary-general and home affairs minister, said he had gone on a nationwide tour, except to the Federal Territories, to strengthen Umno's election machinery at the grassroot level.
During the visit, he said, he had handed over copies of the Electoral Roll for all 6,850 polling districts and it was divided according to age groups. "With this, it is easier for us to set targets," he said.

tunku : for bn to win over kelantan under the leadership of annuar musa is quite impossible although i do wish for bn to win for the betterment of kelantan itself. though pas is not strong but kelantan's umno is not strong enough to put on the challenge.kelantan umno need some fresh faces and most of all sincere leaders. i still think it should be mustapha mohamad who should lead kelantan umno not annuar musa.
