Nothing better to do

PAS Youth to march to EC office

KOTA BARU: PAS Youth has threatened to organise a 100,000-strong protest march to the Elections Commission office in Putrajaya if the commission continues to ignore the party’s demands for reforms.
Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub said PAS had called on the EC to review the electoral roll for the country, implement a thumbprint system for voters to prevent double voting and abolish the postal system.
Speaking at the close of the Dewan Pemuda assembly, he said the demands had been long-standing but the EC had yet to reply to the party’s concerns.
Salahuddin also said the national service programme should be scrapped as it had done more damage in building national unity.
“The free mixing of the sexes and allegations of sexual harassment and rape had smeared the NS reputation.”
Several delegates lashed out at those who campaigned for votes, singling out the intense SMS-style of campaigning the last few days.
Kedah delegate Aishah Abu Bakar asked the Dewan Muslimat (women’s wing) to organise a mass boycott of business premises that sold or served liquor.

tunku : i guess pas now lack of confidence for the coming election and came out with such stupid ideas like to organise a mass boycott of business premises that sold or served liquor. then in their "ceramah" to non muslim they say something else.
