Election: It's Between The PM And I, Said Khairy

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- The Member of Parliament for Rembau, Khairy Jamaluddin, said that whether he will contest in the coming general election is a decision involving only Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and himself.
"It's a matter between the Prime Minister and I," he told reporters briefly after meeting Najib at a session between the prime minister and Barisan Nasional (BN) MPs at the Putra World Trade centre, here Saturday.
Khairy, who is also the Umno Youth head, recently confirmed speculation that he would not be defending his Rembau Parliamentary seat in the next general election.
Earlier, Khairy, who is also the BN Youth chairman, created a stir in the Twitter when he announced his decision to take a rest from politics.
"Hope to help win more youth support for BN (Barisan Nasional) in 2011 & work hard preparing for elections. Then I'm taking a break from politics. Can't wait," he said through the Twitter.

tunku : why must kj says it's a matter between him and pm when he had decided that he won't contest in the coming GE. we hope besides modelling , he won't try acting(which he did with namewee) and becomes a drama king.do not change your mind if you had decided not to contest as Umno will benefit from your decision not to contest.
