KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 (Bernama) -- Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is recuperating from a coronary bypass operation, underwent intensive chest physiotherapy and exercises to his arms and legs Friday, the National Heart Institute (IJN) said.
As the Tun Mahathir continued to make the good progress on the third day of his post by-pass surgery treatment at the ICU, the anesthetic team led by Dr Hassan Mohd Ariff was gradually easing his support medications.
Having tolerated liquid diet yesterday, doctors started soft diet on tun Dr Mahathir today.
