Police record Dr M's statement

Police are recording the statement of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad  over his blog posts, said Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

"We have arranged to record his statement. I think it is going on now," Khalid told reporters after an event at the Bukit Aman police headquarters on Wednesday.

When asked by reporters, Khalid refused to reveal the venue of the police meeting with Dr Mahathir, saying that it was at "a public place arranged by the former premier."

Asked if the location was Dr Mahathir's office in Putrajaya, Khalid said: "Might be."
