Masing tells Dr M to let Najib do his job

It is disappointing and unacceptable for former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to go all out in his criticism against Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, said Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Tan Sri James Masing

"After all, Tun Mahathir was given 22 years to administer Malaysia and he did an excellent job despite criticisms against his administration then, Please give Najib the time to prove his worth. Don't interfere prematurely," he said in a statement Tuesday.

Masing said the strength of any political organisation depends on its solidarity and its members to stay together.

"Criticism within by its members are acceptable only if they are meant to strengthen the party and not to topple its leaders," he added, stating that Umno was no exception to the rule.

He further urged Najib's critics to allow "him and his boys" time and space to carry out the work needed for the betterment of Malaysia

"The Prime Minister has asked the relevant agencies to do an audit on it. Let them do their work," he added
