Pas To Act Against wolves In Sheep's Clothing In Party

KOTA BAHARU, April 12 (Bernama) -- Kelantan PAS will not hesitate to act against party members who are "wolves in sheep's clothing" by leaking party secrets to the public.
Its Deputy Commissioner III, Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, said Kelantan PAS would conduct a thorough internal investigation into claims of the existence of such party members before ridding the party of negative elements.
"Before that, we want to ensure whether there is any truth in the claims made through the blogsites," he told reporters after closing a dress code seminar, here, Monday.
Mohd Amar, who is also the state Islamic Development, Education and Propagation Committee chairman, was asked to comment on claims that there were party members who were "wolves in sheep's clothing" because they divulged party secrets to the public.
Local newspapers recently revealed a blogsite report which said that there were PAS leaders who tried to leak party secrets when it was conducting a post-mortem of the 2004 general election results, until the matter was exposed in the blog, Kickdefella.
Mohd Amar said PAS would not easily accept things being said about the party in poison-pen letters or the blogs without conducting a thorough internal investigation first.
On Gua Musang member of parliament Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah's clarification on his stand that he was not willing to be a negotiator for the Kelantan government over the oil royalty issue with the federal government, he said:
"It's up to him and perhaps he was explaining himself following the confusion that arose over his earlier statement on the matter."
Mohd Amar said the state government was sticking to its stand of appointing the former Petronas chairman (Tengku Razaleigh) as its representative in discussions on oil royalty although the federal government had already stated it would not pay oil royalty to Kelantan.
Asked whether the appointment letter had been sent to Tengku Razaleigh, he said he did not know, as this should be handled by state Economic Planning, Finance and Welfare Committee chairman, Datuk Husam Musa.

tunku : that means kelantan pas is full of dirt. they are so afraid that their misdeeds will be exposed.if they are innocent the matter of wolves in sheep's cloth will not arise at all. kelantan pas should clean up their act first before acting against those who are exposing their dirts to the public.if the boss can accept "sponsor" for performing haj/umrah, asking 'sponsors' for giving timber consessions, what else can we say about others? about Ku Li, it is a very desperate move by kelantan pas government to appoint him as the state representative to discuss on oil royalty even though declined by him.there's no one capable in the govenrment so they have to beg Ku Li no matter what.
