Tengku Razaleigh Wants Gua Musang Voters To Give BN Big Win

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Gua Musang parliamentary seat Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah wants voters here to give a big win to BN as this is the last time he is contesting in the general election due to the age factor.

Tengku Razaleigh, 76, hoped that voters in Gua Musang could repay his services to the constituency for five decades by helping BN win big with their votes.

"I think it's enough for me as I am getting old, and I am satisfied with what I have done for the people of Gua Musang for the past 50 years," he said at a function with FELDA Chiku 2 settlers, Saturday.

Tengku Razaleigh first contested the Gua Musang seat, known previously as Ulu Kelantan Barat, in the 1969 general election at age 32, and has held its MP post for nine terms including uncontested in 1974.

He was confident that BN would not only win Gua Musang but also its three state seats of Paloh, Nenggiri and Galas.

He said this was due to the people's strong support for its long-serving elected representatives and their wish for continued development in the area.
