Hadi Awang's Intention Not To Contest Indicates Something Is Wrong In PAS - Awang Adek

KOTA BAHARU, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- The intention voiced by Pas President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang not to contest in the 13th general election clearly indicates that there is something wrong in the party, according to Kelantan Umno Liaison Committee deputy chairman Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussein.
He said the public statement made by the party president was something really extraordinary and was a sign that the party was passing though a severe crisis.
"This (decision) is probably resulting from the conflict in PAS, including from the sacking of Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Dr Hasan Ali.
"This situation will probably give a major blow to PAS spiritual leader, Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, as he is the one who should be making such a decision after holding the post of Kelantan Menteri Besar for too long," he said.
Earlier, Dr Awang Adek witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU)between AFPM Lifestyle Sdn Bhd and Jalinan Prospek (M) Bhd here.

tunku : if a party president don't want to contest in election then you know that he is good for nothing. his time will end soon.for this matter this is another drama by him, he said he won't contest but willing to contest only in one seat.what does that means?he might be depressed with recent tragedies happening in the party.
