HUSAM SHOWS HIS ‘ANGER’ WHILE VETERANS GET JITTERY

PAS assemblyman for Salor, Kelantan, Datuk Husam Musa turned down offers from Kelantan Mentri Besar for chairmanship of two state-owned companies, giving a picture that all is not well between him and the state government.

Husam, not appointed as a state exco member although he had proven himself and tipped to be the Mentri Besar upon former MB Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat’s stepping down, he seems to be a ‘war mood’.

Since after the May 5 general election, Husam has been in the ‘war mood’ as he was sidelined and considered as ‘dumped’ by the new MB when he was not picked as an exco member, a position he held under Nik Aziz’s tenure as MB where he was a trusted ally and given the finance portfolio.

Known for his smartness in filling up the party’s coffer and even the state, Husam is known for his alignment with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and has been closely following all events Anwar leads without fail.

He had even came out with an edict (fatwa) that those who joined the Black Out 505 rally and died in the cause was considered to die as a martyr or died of jihad.

Such is his loyalty to Anwar that the veteran fundamentalist in the party get ‘jittery’ and the obvious thing the veterans would do is to ‘cut him off’ from the leadership line-up to stop the ‘cancer’ from spreading.

With just three months to go for the party assembly when election to the leadership is scheduled, Husam may not let his ‘goal’ slip away as he made much inroads in trying to stay afloat and align the party to PKR.

Husam had managed to get Nik Aziz to support PKR and DAP and he is considered as the ‘glue’ in the relationship between the party and the others in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

When PAS leadership decided to stay away from the Black Out 55 rally, Husam and those aligned to Anwar who included  deputy president Mohamed Sabu and several others had influenced the leadership to ‘be together’ in the final rally but the response from PAS members were not encouraging despite the leadership gave the greenlight ‘only for the grand finale’ at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur.

Given such background and the ‘under current feud’ between the two factions, the coming party poll is expected to be wild and interesting as the veteran fundamentalists attempt to take control of the party while Husam and friends attempt to unseat them.

The November assembly will determine PAS future as the veteran fundamentalists including party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang attempts to gain control of the party against the oinslaught of the so-called young and intellectuals.

Endless Possibilities: Malaysia Launched It Earlier Than Israel.

The slogan ‘Endless Possibilities’ that was launched in 17 September 2012 is being critically discussed in many blogs and websites. The controversy started because some of the bloggers were saying that it is similar with the Israeli Ministry of Tourism’s slogan.

Because Malaysia already use the 1 Malaysia slogan, adding an extension to the slogan with the phrase ‘Endless Possibilities’ makes it so much similar to the Israeli’s slogan.

Thus, Malaysia is being accused as copying Israel, the motives of our government is doubt.

The fact of the matter is Malaysia has already introduced the ‘Endless Possibilities’ slogan earlier than Israel during the World Economic Forum in Davos on the 13th of Disember 2012. For that, a video titled ‘Malaysia-Endless Possibilities’ shows that Dato’ Seri Najib himself promoting Malaysia. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04_aNZ8nK_M (Preview) )

The particular video was uploaded to Youtube on the 5th of February 2013.

The Tourism Ministry of Israel only used the slogan ‘One Place, Endless Possibilities’ in their website on May 2013. The slogan was never launched and it was never been regarded as an official statement,.

It is clear that Malaysia, did not copy Israel. Maybe Israel is the one who copy form Malaysia, whether they realize it or not, we do not know.

The question is, why so many people keeps on accusing Malaysia was the one who copied Israel and not the other way around? Is it because of the perception that Malaysian does not have the skills to write slogan for its own country.

Maybe it is time for Malaysian to change the way they think and do not feel so small standing with other countries in the world. The weak and ugly must not always come from us, the brilliant and beautiful must not always come from them.

Be Proud Malaysia! We can do anything if we put all our effort in it!

Dwindling Investments In Selangor: Pakatan Rakyat is ruining the state.

With rows of new investment coming every year, Selangor Darul Ehsan was Malaysia’s richest state. However, it is fast becoming nostalgia. Today the investment for the state is dwindling ever since Pakatan Rakyat took over the administration.

Selangor is now ranked in number four with the ever decreasing new investment that has seen a 86% drop with RM 1.8 Billion in the year 2012 compared to RM 11.7 Billion in 2011. The same scenario is seen in the state of Pulau Pinang where the state recorded a 73% drop from its former investment.

With a decrease that is too drastic and dramatic, the Pakatan Rakyat are no longer able to point fingers to anyone. After being at the helm of the administration for one term, Pakatan Rakyat failed to prove that it is smarter or more efficient than Barisan Nasional.

It is clear that investors are not confident with Pakatan Rakyat credibility. It is not impossible for investors to fear the acts of PR leaders who are more of a trouble maker rather than administrator. The state government should promote stability and peace but Pakatan Rakyat government acts like they are agents of anarchy and turmoil.  Who in the right mind would invest in a state where its leaders are constantly politicizing every or any issue that comes to mind?

The increase of black market and illegal activity in the whole of Selangor during their reign also contributes to the decrease in new investment of the state. The increases of illegal activities are the source of the increase of crime rates thus proves that there are clear sign of corruption problem in the state.

Investors have to study this situation and this is why Selangor is not the destination for investors foreign and domestics.

When the condition worsen, Pakatan Rakyat leaders who do not have the charisma or credibility to handle such situation with overseas investors to attract more foreign money. Even the Menteri Besar of Selangor does not have the personality that can give more confidence to the investors, even though he is the representative of his state.

Putting Anwar Ibrahim as the Economic Advisor for the state of Selangor destroys all hope for Selangor to increase their revenues. Even though Anwar have good relations with people from other countries, Anwar fails to have them invest in the state where his party member is the Menteri Besar. This is because his record of nearly flushing out all of the rakyat’s money during his reign as the Finance Minister still lingers around him like a bad case of shingles.

Other than that, there are a few of the leaders in this state, especially those who are from the DAP party is seen as incompetent to be brought in an internationally recognized event. Thus, it is not a surprise why investors keeps clear from any one of them. Even though the DAP always feels that they are better or much more open from Malay leaders, the fact remains, that they are much worst.

In conclusion, Pakatan Rakyat leaders from any of their parties are not good enough to lead a state.

It is because of that, Selangor can no longer take pride as an investor’s destination state. Selangor economy will be crippled with the yearly decrease of investors. It is no surprise if Selangor will see a lower percentage of investment after Ambiga announced that the biggest demonstration will be held soon.

In conclusion, PR are not equipped to rule and if the rakyat of Selangor wants this state to be in its former glory, there are no other ways then giving the BN the mandate to rule in the next general election.

Unity Government: The Value of DAP and PAS in the eyes of Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar’s attempt to attract attention through his “unity government” fairy tales is facing bored reaction from the people of Malaysia. Anwar’s tall tales are too farfetched and at times people are annoyed at it antics. Maybe Jusuf Kalla was right, Anwar is crazy.

Anwar is attempting to confuse and disorient UMNO members in order to destroy the reputation of Datuk Seri Najib Razak. It was said that Najib wants to cooperate with Anwar Ibrahim because of his position now are getting weaker. Anwar seems to show that he is in a better position than Najib Razak.

The question is what is the logical explanation that Anwar Ibrahim votes were much more less than the 12th General Election thinks that he is better than Najib? Anwar did not have the support of more than 10,000 people in the Black505, feels that he is much more powerful than Najib Razak?

Thus, once more we would like to remind the people of Malaysia on the statement of Jusuf Kalla ‘Anwar is crazy’.

In his craziness, Anwar forgot, if the unity government is realized, then where does the DAP and PAS stands? Has Anwar acts as the capacity of the PKR member, Opposition Chief or as his own self.

Anwar should have consulted with all the Pakatan Rakyat component parties before making any decision regarding his party.

It is clear that Anwar never took DAP, PAS or any other parties into consideration in his dream of becoming the ruler of this nation. This is because; Anwar Ibrahim only works for himself.

His dream is to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia by any means possible. DAP and PAS are only tools for him to achieve the dream. Looking at the situation, Anwar sees the DAP and PAS fails to carry him to the helm of the nation. Now, he has to come to UMNO to make his dream come true.

In Anwar’s dream, DAP and PAS do not have a say because he is the one who funds all of them.

Thus, as it was stated earlier, it is only Anwar’s dream. Dato’ Seri Najib already made an official statement to deflect Anwar’s statement. We hope that PAS and DAP would not fret as Anwar Ibrahim is known as a manipulator, and he would do anything to achieve his long-time dream. PAS and DAP should just leave him be, because he is an old senile man, who thinks that he has everything, but yet nothing.

Penang’s investment dwindle as investors do not trust DAP.

Penang was once one of the highest invested state particularly investment in the industry sector. Sadly, after five years being under DAP’s ruling, the numbers of investors gradually dwindle.

In the year 2010, the investment in Penang recorded RM 12.24 billion and in 2011 it falls down to RM 9.11 billion. Finally in the year 2012 the numbers of investment reduced to a mere 2.47 billion, a 73% reduction was recorded. Instead being at the helm of the investment ranks, Penang scored 6th place in the overall state investment in Malaysia.

Like adding salt in an open wound the Bosch Solar Energy Company cancelled their intention to continue to invest in the state, the investment would be worth RM 2.2 billion. A few other companies was said to have retracted any investment from Penang.

With the poor performance of the investment environment of Penang, Lim Guan Eng are too arrogant and loves to scrutinise the Barisan Nasional government. It is ironic for DAP to attack BN on such accusation as they were the one who failed the people of their state.

What more interesting is that the DAP that is popular with its racist stands also practise racism to attract their investments. According to Batu Uban BN Representative, Mr Goh Kheng Sneah, the Penang government are only interested in investors from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Korea because all of the countries stated have “Chinese roots” in them. Previously during the BN led Penang, the investment were from America, Japan, Germany and also The Netherlands.

This proves that Lim Guan Eng is not a leader who has a global attitude and can work with international investors. Lim Guan Eng also has problems dealing with investors, ministers and ambassador from other countries. To enhance their stature in global investment a Chief Minister has to play a big part in establishing relationship with other nations.

Other than that the investment delegation must have charisma and skills to promote the investors in the media in the respected state, so that we can have the media on our side especially the respected newspapers or magazine.

Looking at how the DAP is regulating its mega project presentation like the underground tunnel with its typos and their CEC’s controversy that consist of not more than 2,000 votes, we now understand why the investment in Penang is dwindling.

DAP especially, Lim Guan Eng, the Chief Minister of Penang, do not have the charisma or ability to convince the investor to invest in his own state. Other than that, his reputation and image as a cruel gangster style dictator and compulsive liar is spreading like wild fire, are truly effecting the perception of investor to invest in Penang.

Other than tourism, Penang relies on investment from local and international companies to keep the state afloat. However, Lim Guan Eng seems not worried for what has happened. He even “celebrates” his retain in power with silly project such as the floating “Ubah Bird”.

In the early days of his reign, Lim Guan Eng is busy provoking Muslims while strengthening the Christian movement in this country. He also busy attacking UMNO and playing on racial issues.

Now, Guan Eng’s racist behaviour, no responsibility and gangsters like attitude are bringing a very bad impression towards Penang. With his reputation, Guan Eng is a bad example of a party secretary and his weakness as the Chief Minister, DAP should have a second thought on his place in the party.

Just because he is Lim Kit Siang’s son that does not means that we should just ignore all the bad things that he is doing to Penang. Is it true there are no other individuals capable enough to lead Penang rather than Guan Eng or even the Party Secretary for that matter?

THE AWAKENING IS OPPOSITIONS’ PLAN TO WEAKEN NAJIB MALAY-BASE SUPPORT

Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s The Awakening: The Abdullah Badawi Years has now become a controversy – political controversy with so many assumptions and conspiracy stories.

It is very interesting because it gives a new perspective to the many theories on how how Anwar Ibrahim plans to topple Prime Minister Najib Tun Abdul Razak as well as ‘politically killing former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.’

The assumption or rather theory in the plot thickens with Khairy Jamaluddin playing the lead role in Najib’s Cabinet who is said will be responsible to bring Anwar back to Umno.

Abdullah’s interview mostly circled around his administration and reasons why he did not follow through projects and plans charted by Dr Mahathir when the latter was Prime Minister.

These are ‘bullets’ used by the opposition to paint a picture of enmity between him and Dr Mahathir and rundown the latter as he is seen as the prime mover of Najib’s support.

The oppositions, especially Anwar Ibrahim, has been trying to weaken Najib through various allegations but none sticks and Abdullah’s book can be considered as one of the ways to weaken Najib’s foundation through ‘elimination’ of Dr Mahathir.

The oppositions have in their minds that Najib’s Malay support comes from Dr Mahathir’s influence and weakening or eliminating Dr Mahathir will weaken Najib.

Thus the book is aimed at Dr Mahathir and not Najib.
Secondly, the oppositions want Malaysians at large to view that Abdullah is with them politically to unseat Najib, and together with him is none other than Tun Musa Hitam.
They want to have an image of wholesomeness…where they are being supported by all level of Malaysians including former Prime Minister and former Deputy Prime Minister.

They want to paint an image where they are seen as truly representing every generation and are fit to take over from Najib and the Barisan Nasional (BN).

Thus, the Awakening is considered as part of their strategy to demonise Dr Mahathir and erode Najib’s Malay base with Abdullah seen as on their side.

Despite Abdullah’s denial which was published in the main media, perception is already made and the picture painted.

And with Anwar’s anger on the election courts throwing out most of the election petitions, the Awakening can be considered as one of the oppositions way of further creating distrust on Najib’s administration.

The only way things can change for the better is when Malaysians at large are awaken from the influence of the oppositions plans and strategies.

Duties of Muslims in the Last Third of Ramadan

The last third of Ramadan is the time for the release from Hell-fire, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith reported by Salman Al-Farisi:

"O people, a great and a blessed month is approaching you. In this month there is a night that is better than one thousand months. Allah has made fasting during its daytime obligatory and prayers at night commendable during this month. Whosoever will do a voluntary good deed during this month, it is as if he performed an obligatory good deed at another time and whosoever will perform an obligatory good deed, it is as if he performed seventy obligatory good deeds at another time. This is the month of patience and the reward of patience is Paradise. This is the month of kindness and charity. In this month the believer’s provision is enlarged. Anyone who will give food to a fasting person in this month, it will bring forgiveness for his sins, will save him from the hellfire and he shall have his reward without the person who is fed losing any of his reward… The first third of the month of Ramadan is the time for rahmah (mercy), the second third is for forgiveness, the third is for the release from Hell-fire…"

The duties of the Muslim in this last third of Ramadan is to try his best to perfect his fasting, to avoid any shortcomings or sins that can harm his fasting, to offer more prayers, preferably in jama`ah (congregation), to advance in reading the Qur'an, to make dhikr (remembrance of Allah), to help others to be more committed to religion, to enter i`tikaf if it is possible for him/her, and to remember that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to give extra attention to the last ten days of Ramadan. He could hardly sleep, and his family used also to stay in vigilance with him. The Prophet's generosity in this month and particularly in the last ten days was compared to a fast wind.

We should not miss to remind you and all Muslims to try to settle disputes. It is the best occasion to forgive one another and forget about all enmities and grudges. We should come out of Ramadan in a better shape, understanding, and moral behavior. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made it clear that "if any Muslim comes out of Ramadan without gaining forgiveness and goodness, he/she is a real loser."

DAP grassroots want CEC re-election, says ROS

DAP should hold its central executive committee (CEC) re-election immediately as this is what the party grassroots want, said Registrar of Societies (ROS) director-general Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman.

In a statement Sunday, he said this was the best decision and which would also show transparency on the part of the party leadership, which had promised the public that it would implement whatever decision announced by ROS.

Abdul Rahman said all matters related to any body was handled in accordance with the Societies Act 1966 and ROS made the decision on the CEC election issue based on the statements given by the parties involved.

He said the Act did not provide the need for ROS to explain the matter to the public, adding that ROS took a humanistic approach with regard to the DAP leadership.

On July 30, ROS ordered DAP to hold a CEC re-election and informed that he was not satisfied with the explanation given by the party on the issue of manipulation of votes during the CEC election.
A day later, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng questioned the legal provisions used by ROS in making the decision.

Lim was also reported to have said that DAP would not abide by the directive given by ROS issued via a notice for the CEC election be reconvened as long as the order was not fully explained.

Muhyiddin says his dog trainer video comment was misquoted

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was only making a general statement and not specifically referring to the YouTube video clip entitled, 'Satu Hari di Hari Raya' when he issued a reminder to the people to refrain from touching on the sensitivities of the Muslim community.

Bernama in its earlier report had said the Deputy Prime Minister's statement Tuesday was referring to the video clip which showed an individual appearing to perform ritual ablutions by washing her hands and feet but then did the same to three dogs.

Muhyiddin in his address at the breaking-of-fast with children from the Anak-Anak Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari in Putrajaya did not also specifically mention that non Muslims had belittled and mocked Islam, as the report suggested.

What he actually said was: "Certain parties have belittled and mocked our religion lately and hopefully it will not persist as to cause tension, as what is happening in other Islamic countries."

The Last Ashrah

The month of Ramadhan enjoys and intrinsic superiority over all the other months of the year. Likewise, it’s last ‘Ashra or ten days are superior to the two earlier ‘Ashras, and laylatul Qadr or the Night of Power, generally, falls in it. That is why, the sacred Prophet (peace & blessings upon him) devoted himself more intensively to prayer and other forms of worship during it and urged others, also, to do the same.

Ayesha (RA) related to us that “the Apostle of Allah (peace & blessings upon him)strove harder and took greater pains to observe prayer etc., during the last ten days of Ramadhan than during the other days.” [Muslim]

It is related by Ayesha (RA) that “when the last ten days of Ramadhan began the Apostle of Allah (peace & blessings upon him) would gird up the loins and keep awake in the nights (i.e., he used to spend the whole of the nights in prayer and worship), and, also, wakened the members of his family (so that they, too, could partake of the blessings of the nights of that month).” [Bukhari]

DAP is ready to sack 753 Indian members.

The fraud case in the DAP’s CEC election made its mark in Malaysia political history. As an opposition party who promotes transparency and always accusing the government as corrupted now can eats their own words. The DAP is now known as a hypocrite and liar.

Through this fraud incident, it is proven that the DAP is the most racist party ever existed in Malaysian political history. This is because investigation found out that the DAP intentionally did not send notices to 753 of its Indian members that is eligible to become a representative in the CEC. Other than that, a recount that was made right after the result has been tallied shows that there are manipulation from the leaders of the DAP to ensure that Zairil Khir Johari win a seat in the committee. This only happens because there are no representatives from the Malay community.

However, DAP’s action to cover up their racist nature through the appointment of Zairil Khir Johari has really shows their true colour as Zairil is not a Malay, but he is 100% Chinese. Why a Chinese is being considered as a Malay except the fact that the DAP is too racist and refuse to put Malays in the leadership of the party.

Not enough with the lying and cheating, DAP is now proven as a ruthless bunch of thugs when they oppose the ROS’s orders for the DAP to organize another election.

It is certain that the DAP is not ready to organize another election because it means that they have to invite the 753 Indians that has been left out in the previous CEC election. This also means that they have to prepare for any possibilities that Zairil will have the least amount of votes again, similar to what he received in the first count. This can also resulted into Guan Eng and his cronies is oust from the DAP.

To retain their position, the DAP’s will not fight for the rights of their own members that they themselves took. The DAP is willing to sack the 753 Indian members any time soon as long as there are no re-election. It is not impossible that that is what the DAP wants so that all of their members will understand that the DAP is for the Chinese and other races are only needed to cover up their racist agenda of the party. Thus, the Indians and the Malays do not have to contest any of the election in the CEC and they don’t have to attend the meeting. It is enough for them to be the DAP’s coolies and minions in order to gain Indian and Malay votes.

If the DAP is not a racist, gangster, dictator and ruthless, then what is the correct word to define them? It seems like the DAP leaders are the complete evil villains that are filled with hypocrisy, lying and shameless, a sad despicable excuse for a political party in Malaysia. They have no problem letting the world know that they cheated, as long as they are in power.

It is clear that the DAP is a party that does not have any human values and civil. Just imagine if this party becomes the leader of this country, the 14 days tragedy in Malaya will repeat itself, and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Disconnected Anwar is Disappearing into the Darkness

Anwar Ibrahim is lost in space. He is drifting into the ether on his own, disconnected from the people he once thought loved him, estranged from the coalition machine he failed to unite, and sadly transfixed with GE13 – the election that got away.

Three months on from that election, he cuts a lonely figure as he shouts "It's ridiculous! It's not right" at the judges who have been striking out his court actions against the constituent results of GE13.

No other high profile Pakatan Rakyat figure is interested with his fanciful bid to overturn the result of GE13 via the courts. When he briefly flirted with boycotting Parliament, the 89 Opposition MPs on his own side of the Dewan Rakyat barely paused before they took their seats to debate legislation that is vital for Malaysia. On the other side of the house, it is business as usual, with the Government of Datuk Seri Najib Razak forging ahead with reform of our arcane tax system and the Election Commission.

Looking at where Anwar is now, wallowing in self-pity as he refuses to rule out even more disruptive 'Black 505' rallies, it is easy to brand May 5, 2013 as a pivotal date in his demise as a leader, let alone a future Prime Minister. But you really need to go further back to another even more important date to see where it really went wrong for Anwar.

That date was January 9, 2012, the date on which he was acquitted on the Sodomy II charges. That event is key because it was then that Anwar's victim persona lost its allure. Previously, journalists had fawned on him, detailing his suffering in sympathetic prose. It gave Anwar the chance to brand his homeland an "oppressive regime" and speak of the need for a "Malaysian Spring".

But in time, stripped of his protective shroud of victimhood, voters started to ask more probing questions about his character, his ability to pull together his disparate coalition, his lack of a manifesto or a shadow cabinet, his personal wealth and his past as a Finance Minister, and his role in Bersih 3.0. Suffice to say Anwar probably had a better time as leader of Pakatan Rakyat before January 9 than he has since.

And let's look at the answers to some of those questions. His role as a unifying force of PKR-DAP-PAS was exposed more than anything by the hudud saga. While PAS and DA slogged it out, Anwar did all he could to remain invisible – after endorsing hudud and then announcing that PKR did not join with him. Brave, interventionist leadership was never his thing. No wonder the "Hadi for PM" sideshow was allowed to run its course.

The same problem made a common policy framework impossible and hence the incredible delay for a pre-election manifesto. We never did get a shadow cabinet.

And still haven't.

There remain enough lurking questions about his personal fortune, personal conduct and time as Finance Minister to stop him being credible enough to ask tough questions of the Government's conduct.

And Bersih 3.0 exposed him at his very worst – allegedly cajoling the masses over the barricades of a demonstration that turned violent. It was a day that left him with "questions to answer".

Perhaps the most surprising decision by Anwar since GE13 was his declaration that he will stay on as de facto Opposition leader having previously promised to quit politics. This was a curious call, given his lacklustre performance since May 5. He looks like a man who simply doesn't care for the future.

It all could have been so different. Anwar could have emerged from making gains at GE13 stronger and he could have created his shadow cabinet and strode into the Dewan Rakyat ready to take the fight to BN. But he didn't. He couldn't.

Perhaps another September crossover pledge is in the offing. Perhaps the old Anwar will return.

But likely not. Anwar remains lost in space and there is no sign that he won't just keeping drifting off into the distance.

Laylatul Qadr - The Night Of Power

Laylatul Qadr is the crowning glory of the holy month of Ramadhaan. It is associated with the sending down of the Qur’an Majeed, the last Book of Allah on His last Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), for the guidance of mankind. The Qur’an Majeed describes this Night.

“We have indeed revealed this (message) in the Night of Power: And what will explain to you what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down the Angels and the Spirit (Jibraeel) by Allah’s permission, on every errand: Peace! This until the rise of Morn!” (Surah 97)

The Night of Power is the night of spiritual bliss. Our Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) is reported to have said concerning Ramadhaan:
“Verily this month has come to you; and therein is a night which is better than a thousand Months. Whosoever is deprived of it, is deprived of all good; and none is deprived of its good except a totally unfortunate person”. (Ibn Majah)
“Whosoever stands up (in prayer) at the Night of Power out of faith and hopeful of reward, all his past sins will be forgiven.”
(Targhib)

Better than a thousand months
A thousand months are equivalent to 83 years and 4 months. Fortunate is the person who spends this night in prayer. The man or woman, who prays for the whole night during this Night, will deserve blessings and reward for the period as if he or she had been praying for eighty three years and four months consecutively. Since the Night of Power is better than one thousand months no one can actually measure the extent as to how much better it is.

Exclusive
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “Laylatul Qadr has been bestowed by Allah to my Ummah (People). It was not given to any people before this.” (Dur-Mansoor).
How manifest and replete the special bounties and mercies of Allah Ta’ala are upon this Ummat is quite really beyond imagination. It will therefore be extremely foolish to allow ourselves to be deprived of these great blessings at the expense of sheer laziness and a few hours of extra sleep.

Which Night is it?
Although there are different reports in different traditions regarding the exact night, it is almost unanimous that the blessed night occurs in one of the last ten nights of Ramadhaan and more probably in one of the last ten odd nights i.e. 2lst, 23rd, 25th 27th or 29th night.

The popular opinion is, however, in favour of the 27th Night of Ramadhaan but that is not absolutely certain. The traditions indicate that it is to be sought in one of the last ten nights and preferably in the last three odd nights. It was therefore the practice of the Holy Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and his companions to make I’tikaaf in the Mosque for the whole time offering Divine service during the last ten days of Ramadhaan.

Hazrath Aisha (Radhiallaahu Anha) reported that the Apostle of Allah said: “Search for the Blessed Night in the odd (nights) from the last ten (nights) of Ramadhaan” (Bukhari).
Hazrath Aisha has narrated another saying:

“I asked: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me if I were to find a Night of Power, what should I recite therein?” Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) advised her to recite:
Al-laa-hum-ma in-na-ka ‘afoow-wan tu-hib-bul-’af wa fa-fu ‘an-ni.
O Allah! You are Forgiving, You love forgiveness, so forgive me. (Bukhari).

Special attention should therefore be given to the excessive recitation of this dua on the blessed night. Furthermore one may engage in lengthy rakaats of Tahajjud salaat, Tilaawat of the Qur’an, Dua, Zikr, etc.

The worship and the vigil of the Night of Power are a treat to the soul. The heart tends to melt into tears of heartfelt gratitude. The body is in a state of angelic ecstasy The soul strives to reach nearer to Almighty Allah. In this holy month of Ramadhaan let us strive to seek the Night of Power and its bliss. May Allah reward us with His bountiful blessings. Ameen.

FUTURE PLAN: Outgoing chief Rosnah likely to stand as No. 2 in Wanita polls

Outgoing  Puteri Umno chief Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin is likely to be the running mate of Wanita chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Jalil in the party election.

However, Rosnah, who was earlier speculated to contest a seat in the Umno supreme council and Wanita Umno executive council, was believed to have delayed her announcement on the matter after receiving advice from several circles in Wanita and Puteri.

A Wanita Umno insider, nonetheless, insisted that Rosnah had pledged her support to Shahrizat and had been offered to back the latter as her No. 2.

"Rosnah had came to us and expressed support for Shahrizat. She had, however, intended to contest the executive councillor post in the senior wing.

"But we advised Rosnah to support Shahrizat as her possible deputy in Wanita Umno since she is a member of the cabinet and could act as a senior representative in the government."

The source said Rosnah fit the bill of a senior Wanita Umno leader as she was a "working woman, a mother and a wife". Rosnah's impending departure from Puteri Umno had also led to a three-way contest for the wing's top post.

Sources in Puteri Umno had named deputy chief Shahanim Mohd Yusoff and two exco members, Jamilah Hanim Othman and Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, as candidates to replace Rosnah.

Yesterday, Mas Ermieyati confirmed her candidacy and said Jamilah was running for the post as well.
Mas Ermieyati, who is also Malacca Puteri chief, said she had sought the "blessing" of the Malacca Umno state liaison committee and Rosnah to contest the post over a month ago.

"I want to continue serving my wing in a bigger capacity and will contest in the spirit of democracy."
Sources said Mas Ermieyati was expected to appeal to the rural segment of Puteri Umno members and had stronger grassroots support after winning the Masjid Tanah parliamentary seat recently.

Meanwhile, Jamilah Hanim was known to be a vocal and opinionated leader in contrast to the popular perception that Puteri Umno members were demurred and accommodating.

Known as "Jamie" among her peers, the Petaling Jaya Selatan Puteri chief had always been regarded as a fair player who would listen to everybody.
"Jamilah has always been seen as someone that the public can easily relate to, especially among the youth," a close aide said.

Shahanim, a former financial executive, had been on a steady rise ever since she was first appointed as the Kedah Puteri chief in 2004.

Five years later, she was elected as the wing's second-in-command and worked closely with Rosnah to lift Puteri's standing within Umno.

"It has always been expected that Shahanim would offer herself to contest the post once Rosnah has been automatically absorbed into Wanita Umno at the age of 41," said a source close to her.

"Many have noted Shahanim's strong managerial skills which would boost the party if she is elected."
The race for the wing's No.2 leadership is also heating up, as Shahanim prepares to vacate her deputy post. The seat is expected to be contested between Pandan Puteri chief Zahida Zarik Khan and Kulim Puteri chief and first-term assemblyman for Bandar Baru, Datin Norsabrina Mohd Noor.

Election Petition: Anwar Is Getting Crazier

After he failed to challenge the result of the 13th general election through street demonstration, Anwar seems to have lost his way to plan the next step of his mission. Anwar reluctantly have to admit his defeat and accept Barisan Nasional won the election. He was the one who took an oath even if his minions were hoping that he would lead a rebellion to “free” the country. What happens in this few months has really made Anwar Ibrahim looks like a fool.

To ensure that his name is not washed away in the Malaysian political tide, Anwar is hoping that the election petition that is filed by the Pakatan Rakyat candidate can give them a little publicity. This is because, Anwar himself is well informed that the petitioned that he submitted is baseless and will be thrown out by the court.
If the petitioned fail, it will gave them a new bullet to pressure the government, the court and anything else that they can attack. This is what happening where Anwar is carrying the character as the Opposition Leader and his petitioned is thrown out.

The high cost of the petitioned helps Anwar to act effectively. It also gave them a chance to collect funds. On the 28th June 2013, Anwar organized a dinner to collect funds for the cause. The total cost for the events is estimated at RM 1.5 million.
On the 23rd of July the petition is filed by two PKR candidates from Penang- Abdul Halim Hussain (Dun Teluk Bahang) and Muhammad Baktiar Wan Chik (Parliament Balik Pulau) was thrown out by the Penang High Court. They were both defeated by BN candidate and were ordered to pay the cost fee to the BN candidate.
Judge Hadariah Syed Ismail said that both of them were made to pay the fine as both of them failed to follow the Election Petition Rule 1954.
Last week, PAS candidate from Titiwangsa, Ahmad Zamri Asa’ad Khuzaimi was ordered to pay RM 40,000 to the SPR and RM 30,000 to his opponent when his petition was thrown out in Kuala Lumpur.
In Anwar script he accuses the Judge as crazy and illogical because the judgement was made on the basis of technicality.

It seems that Anwar forgot that he himself was acquitted few times because of technicality. It seems that Anwar Ibrahim forgot about his sodomy cases and how he is still a free man.
Because of that, if Anwar Ibrahim opposed the judgement that was made on the basis of technicality, then Anwar should have taken the same approach with his sodomy cases.
We understand that people who are crazy about something cannot think straight. As an actor, Anwar knows that he do not have to debate on the facts but it is enough if he would play his character effectively. And if that is achieved, all of his supporters will forgot the facts that it is a lie and focus on the persona which is named Anwar Ibrahim.
The conclusion, Anwar lived on publicity, without publicity, he will surely dies. The truth is, the general election petitioned and acting, Anwar only does it for publicity and not more than that. RM 1.5 million is not a problem for him. The actual intention is to collect fund for himself not for his party or his supporters.

DAP’s Vision: Christianity or Communism?

We all know that the DAP has always looked up to the communist insurgents in Malaya and considers them as heroes. The said party also wants to bring back Chin Peng by saying that the communist threat has already passed. To justify their action, the DAP also denied the history of Malaysia by creating stories that favours the communist. They even distribute flyers that say the communist insurgents were part of the independence movement in Malaya. In the same time, they plant the seed of distrust for the government to the people of Malaysia by saying that the current government are denying the contribution of the communist insurgent because of racial policies.
The Chinese who are famous for their racism believe the stories told by the DAP. Many of them were direct descendants of these communist terrorist.

When the Chinese community oppose the National School and opt to go to Chinese National School, the condition became much worst because the Chinese School do not emphasize on the History subject. We are also doubtful whether the subjects are taught the same way as it is taught in national schools. Does it carry the aspiration of the nation or the aspiration of the communist?

Now, the product of these Chinese Schools are leaving their schools and entering adulthood while carrying with them the hatred of Malays and doubting the government. These are the people that we see challenging and provoking Islam and the Malays in the internet. Almost every day there are individuals who intentionally post provocative statements so that the Malays will stand up and retaliate. What is more disgusting is the fact that they are currently asking the Indians to do the same.

Not only that, they are willing to give a lot of money to produce a movie about the heroism of communist during the 14 days of terror that all of us Malaysians have to endure. The movie titled “The New Village” are so controversial and shows that the communist laid their lives for Malayan independence. We believe, many of the students from Chinese Schools has no idea on the truth and believe everything that is said and portrayed in the film is true. They were indoctrinated by their parents and teachers in their Chinese Schools. Plus, the DAP support for the communist is also a factor.

However, it is weird that the DAP is also upholding the aspiration of the Christians. The DAP Christian agenda is no longer a secret as everyone knows the mission of the DAP to abolish the clause which states the word Islam as the religion of the country in the constitution. As a replacement, Christianity will be the official religion of the country and this particular plan is being worked out in Subang Jaya and also Pulau Pinang. A DAP program video that is attended by Christian priest who vowed to ensure that Malaysia will become a Christian nation has also went viral. DAP is also the main party who pushed the government to agree with the usage of the word “Allah” in the Malay version of the Bible.

We consider that this is weird as Christian and Communism are two different worlds all together. The values and faith of Christians are not in line with Communism that puts everyone as the same, and only the ruler or party leader will have absolute power. Meanwhile Christian believes in moral and theological values.

Thus, for the DAP, to be awed by the Communist while still holding to their Christian shows that the DAP themselves do not understand their own mission. Maybe because they are too ‘obsessed’ with their own race and they hate the Islamic faith and the Malay community, the DAP never take any time off to look back and understand their own struggle.

We are sure that the DAP do not know the history of Communism in Malaysia and all of its detail. They also do not understand Christianity fully. The DAP as most Chinese youth in Malaysia can only talk about shallow issues such as money, promotion, marketing and also entertainment. It is proven that the DAP cannot be asked to participate in an intellectual discourse as their intelligence are not that high. They do not want to dissect the real meaning, the ideology, the philosophy and history.

The truth is how we can hope that all these Chinese youngsters to think intellectually if the leader that they worship is the Bafoon Lim Guan Eng himself.  In an attempt to defend the “New Village” movie, Lim Guan Eng revealed that he does not understand the relationship between Malaysia and China that was pioneered by Tun Abdul Razak when he compared the act of the legendary former PM to the action of Malaysia opposing communism.

Guan Eng clearly do not know the meaning of the 1989 peace treaty between the government and the PKM when they considered it as the acceptance of communism. In fact the treaty was to show that the communist had surrendered to the government without any terms.

This is the consequences If you are too emotion addressing an issue. And that is why DAP is a party that is full of hatred. To the DAP, Christianity, Communism and everything else is permitted as long as it is against the religion of Islam and Malay.

If DAP is at the helm of this nation, say our goodbyes to the peace and stability of the country. The nation will not be peaceful or harmonious instead chaos will reign supreme. We want all the future generation to study history so that it can be a reference so that no mistake will be made.

It’s been a while seems the Chinese accept the fact that their history starts from the arrival of their ancestors to mine the quarry. Only by realizing this, they will be able their hatred towards the country, the peoples and also themselves.

Umno, BN Must Be Preferred By Urban Community, Says Najib

Effective methods should be formulated to restore the urban community's confidence in the Barisan Nasional (BN) and Umno to make them their parties of choice, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Prime Minister said BN and Umno leaders and members should work hard to translate their strength as the only parties that could develop the economy while reminding the people that they had fought to liberate the country.

Prompted by the strong message sent by the people during the 13th general election, he said in order to win back the hearts of urban dwellers, major problems like crimes, corruption, traffic snarls and housing prices should be addressed.

"Apart from the process of improving weaknesses in the party and acknowledging mistakes, we should also have the humility to identify problems of the urban community which should be resolved to their satisfaction," he said when breaking fast with Federal Territories BN and Umno members at the Muadz Al-Jabbar Mosque here Wednesday night.

Najib, who is also Umno president and BN chairman, said the government was committed to curbing corruption and crime to ensure that the people were free from threats of serious crimes, snatch thefts and burglaries.

He also said that the government would ensure that the people, whether from low or high-income groups, could benefit from an efficient public transportation system to reduce traffic congestion. "As in the cities of London and New York, even those in the high-income group use public transport. If we can get to that level, we can give satisfaction to the people," he said.

The Prime Minister said the government would also build 85,000 affordable housing units in the range of RM150,000 to RM300,000 in the Federal Territories within five years to meet the demand of urban dwellers. Meanwhile, Najib called on Muslims to be grateful as they were able to fast in a peaceful atmosphere compared to other fellow Muslims in strife-torn Islamic countries.

At the event, Najib also handed out Aidilfitri aid and 'duit raya' to 1,500 orphans, people with disabilities, the poor and single mothers from the Setiawangsa parliamentary constituency.

He later joined the congregation in performing the Maghrib, Isyak and tarawih prayers.

Also present were Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib, Federal Territories Umno Liasion Committee deputy chairman Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin and Member of Parliament for Setiawangsa Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Zahari.

Scorpene: The People Demand the Whole Truth From SUARAM

The scorpene submarines issue seems to refuse to submerge even when the whole truth is out.  The one thing about ‘the truth’ is that whenever people ask ‘what is the truth?’, it automatically creates a ‘perception of lies’.

So how do we decide what is ‘the truth’ when it is folded under the ‘perception of lies’?

One thing we know about ‘the truth’ is that it doesn’t change.  It is intact and consistent no matter what words or language you use or how you describe it.

And this is what happen in what is called the ‘scorpene scandal’ where the statements from Malaysian police, the Malaysian court, the convicts, the Malaysian government, the Malaysian Prime Minister, the French Court, the French Police, the French Foreign Affairs Ministry, the officers of DCNS and now the Architect, as well as the Audit Report of Perimekar - have all fits perfectly with not a single word is out of the way.

The French police confirmed that Altantuya had never entered France during the transaction period.  All the money that changed hands were recorded and audited.  Every single party’s involvement are clarified and justified.   The French Court has also confirmed that there was never any case and that they have rejected SUARAM’s complaints right from the very beginning.

To add cement to the concrete truth, Anwar’s lawyer at the time Zulkifly Nordin who was also the lawyer of the convict in Altantuya’s murder case had come clean about how he was asked by Anwar Ibrahim to force the accused to plant Dato’ Seri Najib in the murder.   But his client refused to drag an innocent PM into the mess and so based on Zulkifly’s own investigation he found perfect alibis for Dato’ Seri Najib and denied Anwar’s order.

And that was where he reached the point and leave Anwar for good.

Still SUARAM indirectly claim that the Malaysian court and police have covered things up for the government.  Fine.  But what about the others?   The authorities and government of France? Why would they all help cover-up a bribery that ended up in murder?   Is SUARAM saying that they have been bribed too?

And why would a convict not save himself by indicting the PM instead?

The only logical answer is that the Prime Minister has nothing to do with the late Altantuya, which also means that he has nothing to do with any bribe.  The stories are consistent so this, is the truth.

In SUARAM’s latest effort to rebut the truth, it demands Jasbir Singh Chahl, who had come in the open to repeat the same truth in NST last Sunday, to again, tell the truth!

But as far as Malaysians are concerned, the truth is vivid.  In fact, the truth is almost disturbingly a little too clear that even the enemy can now see the detail specifications of the submarines - thanks to SUARAM.

Since SUARAM insists that Jasbir and everybody else didn’t tell the truth, then where else can we seek truth but from from SUARAM itself.

Therefore, we hereby demand SUARAM to tell the whole truth as according to its own statements so far.  For that, we need SUARAM to answer a few questions:

1.      Why does SUARAM play down on Jasbir’s significance in the ‘case’ now, when an article in Suara Keadilan in 2012, stated that Jasbir, Bala and Dr. Setev are among credible witnesses listed by SUARAM for the scorpene scandal?

2.      Why did SUARAM announce Jasbir’s name as one of the first to have received the subpoena?  As far as Malaysians can remember Jasbir denied receiving any subpoena almost as soon as the news about it was out.

3.      Why does SUARAM insist that the French court is investigating the case when the court actually dismissed the complaint?  If the case is ongoing and subpoenas to be served soon (since a year ago), why haven’t they been served?

4.      What is the exact amount of the bribe and into whose bank account did it go and from which bank account did it come from?  This is because SUARAM keeps quoting different figures and different company every time.  (Terasasi, Thales, DCNS, Perimekar, etc.)

5.      Why Altantuya only met Razak Baginda after the transaction was done if she was the Interpreter and involved somehow in the deals that made her think that she was entitled for the commission?

6.      Why was Altantuya never set foot in France during the time of the transactions if she was involved in it?

7.      Why does SUARAM claim Altantuya to be the Interpreter when the whole transactions were done in English and need no Interpreter?

8.      Why in the latest statement, SUARAM suddenly ‘reluctant’ to admit to have referred to Altantuya as the Interpreter?  Here’s an extract from a Malaysian Insider’s article some months ago:

“Chua singled out Document 136, which was translated from French, which details the interview between the French police and DCNS’ financial controller, Gerard-Philippe Menayas.

The document, distributed to the media today, was of Menayas’ explanation to the police of how the firm had to use other associate companies to make payments to Abdul Razak’s Terasasi.

Even more notable from the document, said Chua, was Menayas’ clear mention of Altantuya as Abdul Razak’s “interpreter”.

9.       If Altantuya was not an Interpreter as SUARAM suddenly agrees now, and that she was not involved in the transaction, how does the story of the murder and the bribe connect?  Or is it not connected anymore?  Which is the truth?

By denying the truth told by others, SUARAM is indirectly saying that they know the whole truth all along.  It would be funny for the person who knows the truth but keep harping on others to tell the truth, right?

So, SUARAM needs to tell its story by answering the questions above.  There is no need to ask Jasbir to do so as SUARAM clearly knows more than Jasbir or most probably knows better than the late Altantuya (R.I.P).

Police release photograph of Najadi’s killer

City police have identified the main suspect behind the brutal murder of banker Hussain Ahmad Najadi.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the man, known as Sei Ngan Chai, was still believed to be in the city.

Ku also said the police had released a CCTV photo of suspect.
Police also arrested a 44 year old taxi driver, who drove the getaway vehicle for the shooter.
Photos of Sei Ngan Chai
It was reported yesterday that the police managed to get a photograph of the suspect from a CCTV footage from a camera near the Lorong Ceylon Kuan Yin Temple.

On Monday afternoon, Najadi was walking to his car with his wife along Jalan Ceylon in the heart of the city after negotiating a land deal at the temple.

A man came up behind him and opened fire, hitting him in the chest and lower abdomen. The man fled in a waiting taxi.

Najadi died on the spot while his 49-year-old Malaysian wife Cheong Mei Kuen was wounded in the arm.

Najib Vows to Tackle Recent Spate of “Brazen” Gun Crime

The recent, well-planned murder of a respected Bahrain-born businessman in Kuala Lumpur has generated the sort of international headlines we could well do without. It has been reported around the world that 75-year-old Hussain Ahmad Najadi, who founded the Arab Malaysian Development Bank in the 1970s, was shot in the chest and stomach and died on the spot. His wife was shot in the arm by the three attackers who are believed to have fled in a taxi.

Appalled by the shooting and the recent spate of gun crime, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has vowed to get tough. "I am deeply concerned by recent developments where murders involving firearms can occur in a brazen manner," he said.

"We are ready to give the police anything it needs in its fight against serious crime."

Najib added that the Government will look at the gun crime issue ahead of the next sitting of Parliament while police investigating the Najadi shooting are speculating it could have been a contract killing connected to a recent business deal.

The way Najib has responded to this issue is the right way. As frightening and emotive as gun crime is, Governments have a responsibility to work with police and allow their most experienced investigators do their job.

The wrong way are the sort of top down interference and quotas favoured by Pakatan Rakyat, which, should it have been elected, would have ordered police away from their normal duties so that they could say there were more cops walking the streets. But as police pointed out at the time, such a strategy would have denied them key resources.

What of the office staff who take calls from the public? Or those who coordinate scientific evidence and manage the resources so vital for fighting crime? The Government, meantime, is set to make good on its manifesto promise to hire 4,000 extra police and to support these officers, and will enlist an army of 50,000 PDRM volunteers to ease the workload.

Najib has attacked the "brazen" nature of some of the recent shootings. But with his response he has also sent a message that the Government and police will not tolerate this recent wave of armed violence.

JASBIR REVEALS THE TRUTH, NOW BALL AT SUARAM AND ANWAR

Jasbir Singh Chahl  had spoken and left no stones unturned. As architect for the purchase of Scorpene submarines, he related the whole event, the truth to clear every suspicious and misconception.

“I am willing to swear on my holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib, that I did not know this person, that she was never part of the team, had never met her, that she was never in France during the entire time we were there trying to close the deal and only knew about her when I read the papers in 2006 that they had found her body,” he told NST in an exclusive interview.

One of the myths that has been “accepted” as gospel was that Altantuya had acted as a translator for Abdul Razak Baginda, who had helped Chahl broker the deal.
Negotiations began in 2000 and were concluded in 2002. If Altantuya was indeed Razak Baginda’s interpreter, she should have been present at all the meetings from 2000.

And yet, in official French documents that were made available to the NST, the French police have stated categorically that Altantuya never entered France from 1999 to 2006, the year she died.
With official statements and documents, Anwar Ibrahim and Suaram should now come out in the open and deny those – complete with documents and first had statements.

All this while Suaram and Anwar have been misleading Malaysians into believing that Prime Minister and wife were involved in the murder of Mongolian citizen Altantuya Shariibu.
Now the truth has come out and the onus is on Suaram and Anwar to admit the truth or rebut it with documents and statements.

There should be no more delay in rebutting or admitting because it has been nearly five years Suaram and Anwar had been on the subject, pounding in the minds of Malaysians of the purported or alleged cruelty.

Suaram and Anwar even brought to Malaysia the late Altantuya’s father, putting unnecessary pressure on the government and Prime Minister.

Yes, it is true that Suaram is Anwar’s tool to bring down Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak as Prime Minister and that Altantuya was their best bet to achieve their goal.
But God is Mightiest and God showed the truth – although late but that is God’s way – and with the truth, we want to know what Suaram and Anwar will do?

Now Suaram and Anwar should admit their wrong and apologise publicly or rebut Jasbir Singh with proof.

Lets see from now what more evil plans Suaram and Anwar have with the truth now in the open.

Scorpene: Jasbir Singh’s exposes The Truth.

A few days ago the New Straits Times newspaper made a special story on the issue of Scorpene. The story was made public to answer all the accusation regarding the purchase of the Scorpene Submarine and also the murder of Altantuya. The truth has been overwhelmed by accusation and slander especially by the Malaysia’s human rights act movement SUARAM.

.
SUARAM and the opposition are still trying to look for the government fault in the Scorpene issue. Recently, SUARAM organized an Iftar programme themed by their slander on Scorpene. This is preposterous and sickening, as they invite the Muslims to break their fast in a sinful manner (listening to slander).

Thus, NST’s effort to address the issue by giving a complete and detail explanations regarding this issue is seen as an effective way to stop SUARAM from taking advantage of the gullible Malaysians.

For that particular reason, NST has interviewed Jasbir Sing Chahl, one of the key members who directly involve in the purchase of the said submarine. Jasbir Singh Chahl name have been used by SUARAM. They use his name in their publication by saying that Jasbir Singh Chahl is subpoena by the French courts. Jasbir denied all claims and said that he had never received any subpoena.

Now once more, Jasbir came out to explain everything that has been said by the government various times. Among the facts that was disclosed by Jasbir, is:

1.          Altantuya is not an interpreter, and his fluency in French is debatable and can’t be proven.

2.          Those who were involved in the Scorpene dealings (including Jasbir) has never meet with Altantuya during the on-going business deal in the year 2000-2002).

3.          Altantuya never came to France, as what have been verified by the French police.

4.          Abdul Razak Baginda that was said to have been close to the Prime Minister and Altantuya, only meets the girl in the year 2004.

5.          Altantuya was murdered in 2006.

6.          The DCNS Company that supplies Scorpene to the country handles all of their business using the English language and they do not need any interpreter, let alone a Mongolian one.

7.      The Perimekar Company that is rumoured to have been linked with Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor is actually owned by KS Ombak Laut Sdn Bhd, LTAT and also Boustead.

8.     The Perimekar Company received payment for their logistic services, training and administration; this includes accommodation for 145 staff and 49 officers in France and Spain.

9.    The Perimekar Company has never receive any commission from Dato’ Seri Najib and this was proven in the audit where the after tax profit of the company is RM 105, 111,191.00 .

All the facts and numbers that is made public is to show that the government is truly transparent in dealing with the country’s money. Everything done is recorded and audited. However, this is not the same with SUARAM and the opposition reports, where the numbers their put, has not source or documentation what so ever. We do not have to be a genius to know who is telling the truth and who the liar is.

What interesting is that, Jasbir was said to have raised his voice during the interview because he was angry at the baseless accusation of the opposition. It is clear that as an experience professional and worked with business giants since in his 20’s, Jasbir felt unease for his name to be dragged into politics. Previously he worked in a defence and construction company in London and were involved with billions of dollars business deals. From there he established a good relationship with the contractor in Europe. He came back to Malaysia in 1981 before joining Thomson-CSF Internationals, a subsidiary company of Thales that brought him to the business of purchasing Scorpene for the government of Malaysia.

With Jasbir explanations, Malaysian must put an end to this “scandal”. Let SUARAM and the opposition carry on to spin this issue, it will not bring them anywhere except to flush out all of their financial funds.

DPM calls for stern action against parties responsible for latest video allegedly insulting Islam

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has called for stern action to be taken against the culprits behind the video allegedly tarnishing the image and sanctity of Islam.

"The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and the Home Ministry must act fast to prevent a recurrence," he said in reference to the video.

Muhyiddin said the action by certain quarters should not happen in a country that is enjoying the peace.

"This shows that there is no deep understanding within society. Muslims do not insult the religion of non-Muslims such as Christianity and Hinduism.

"But non-Muslims are insulting our religion," he said at the breaking of fast with orphans of Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari here Tuesday.

An video uploaded to YouTube entitled 'Suatu Hari di Hari Raya' depicted a man performing ablution and doing the same to three dogs with the 'Takbir Raya' and the Selamat Hari Raya song by Datuk M. Nasir as background music.

Suaram Still = PKR

As reported by The Choice last year, Suaram, nominally an independent NGO, is actually apparently composed entirely of Pakatan Rakyat politicians and media figures. (Suaram refuses to release its membership list, but the majority of its known members are PKR figures, and the remainder are DAP and Malaysiakini figures.) It has been repeatedly caught out acting as a thinly-veiled outlet for Pakatan propaganda – propaganda it has had to retract quite frequently.

Suaram is now faced with a retraction of one of its most ridiculous claims – and how it has acted has demonstrated more than ever that it acts as a mere front for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's party.

The recent revelations in the New Straits Times on the Scorpene submarine deal have put Suaram to the test. The man behind the Scorpene submarine deal has authoritatively and finally demolished the bizarre rumours that slain Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu was somehow involved in the purchase of the Scorpene submarines. Those rumours were repeated by PKR and its allies such as Suaram and used as a shameless attack on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak as GE13 approached.

This followed on revelations from the government of France that Altantuya had not been in France at all from 1999 through 2006, which included the time up to her death.

A photo of Altantuya in France has been subsequently shown as a forgery, much as other photos of Altantuya allegedly related to this case have been shown to be forgeries time and again.

Faced with this demolition of most of Suaram's allegations, PKR vice president (and Suaram member) Tian Chua responded: "We urge Jasbir to reveal the real role of Altantuya if, as he said, she was not involved in the Scorpene negotiations."

That is indeed what he said. After it has been finally proven that Altantuya had no part in the Scorpene deal, Tian Chua would like to know what part she had in the Scorpene deal.

Suaram has used the Scorpene deal – and the ridiculous claims of Altantuya's involvement – as a bludgeon for years, and each time, that weapon has turned on them. Last year, they attempted to host a fundraising dinner on the allegations, a dinner that caused them no end of heartache. They also claimed that the French government had begun a trial on the matter, a claim they were forced to retract when French lawyers and the French government made claim that there was no such trial.

Suaram was then caught out attempting to lobby the US government on its claims using a group closely tied to Israel's lobbying efforts, an effort they were forced to quickly disavow.

The Scorpene deal and the obscene allegations of Altantuya's involvement have, at the same time, been a staple of ceramah by Pakatan leaders, especially Anwar. Essentially, Suaram has acted as the nominally independent party seeking justice, providing a thin shield for PKR's subsequent allegations, all the while being PKR in all but name.

Tian Chua's absurd demand merely cements for all time Suaram's complete lack of independence from PKR, and shows finally that this entire matter has been contrived as a weapon to attack Najib and the Government.

Suaram may wish to protest its independence and claim that it truly acts in the best interest of the rakyat, rather than as a mere attack vehicle for PKR. We again invite Suaram to answer these questions as a sign of good faith, which we first posed over a year ago:

What is your complete membership list? How many Pakatan Rakyat politicians, leaders, and party members occupy your leadership? Why does your web site refuse to disclose this information? Have you informed the French court of your heavy Pakatan membership?

To what extent are you using malaysiakini.com as a dedicated outlet for your activities, and do you disclose your ties with the site to its readers in every article on this case?

How often do you report on your activities to PKR leadership – other than Tian Chua of course, who is not only one of your leaders, but Vice President of PKR?

As we did in September, we also call on Suaram and its backers to disclose their ties:

We call on Malaysiakini, whose leadership demands openness when it suits them, to immediately disclose all ties to and funding for Suaram and all other NGOs immediately.

We call on Suaram to identify all governmental funding, foreign and Malaysian, and the means by which it was obtained.

Opposition leaders and media will continue to try to use the Scorpene deal as a weapon against BN, but the rakyat are now aware of Suaram's true nature.

“The New Village” A Patriotic Movie?

Following the decision to withhold the film, The New Village, FINAS has been calling everyone not to blame them for releasing it for screening.  According to FINAS, it is not their job to approve the screening but only responsible to fix the date for the cinemas.
The authority to approve falls under the Film Censorship Board (FCB).  This means, the ball is now at FCB’s feet.  Still no words are heard from the FCB.  It was also reported that some Ministers are also saying that it is unfair to judge the movie based on its trailer.

Funny that we didn’t hear the same being said about the film Tanda Putera when the Chinese, most probably the communist sympathizers or their next of kin, went berserk over the film’s trailer.   Consequently, the movie has been hold for months and was almost banned.

The irony is that, Tanda Putera is a historical movie which was made based on thorough study.  Should the storyline ‘offend’ anybody then be it, because that is how we learn and move forward.  We don’t erase or change history just to make sure that some quarters are not offended by what their ancestors had done.   In fact, all Malaysians regardless of race must embrace this painful truth.  This is the only way that we can promote patriotism and nationalism to the new generations.

The New Village movie, on the other hand is a different story.  This film is made from the point of view of the communists, which is the enemy.  Which government or minister in the right mind would approve a movie that could stir the already fragile spirit of patriotism among the people?     What more at this point of time when racial tension is in the verge of suffocating us all.

We are fully aware that there have been endless and tireless efforts by the children and grandchildren of the communists to change history to be in favour of their fathers and grandfathers’ fights.  These new generations are in denial that their fathers and grandfathers are heartless killers, the enemy and traitors of the country but want so much to believe that the communists are freedom fighters.

No matter how hard they try to deny, the fact remains that the communists wanted to overtake the country from the colonials, as well as the rightful settlers.  And that makes the communists colonials too, not freedom fighters.

Somehow, these new generations have no knowledge of the truth or simply refuse to believe the official records.  Their minds have long been poisoned by hatred towards the Malay government.
They believe that history was recorded with racial prejudice where the communists are made to look bad just because the majority of them are Chinese.  Obviously, racist blood runs very-very deep that in the end they can only see ‘race’ in everything.

These new generations of the Chinese must learn to look at history with an open mind.   Communists are not heroes.  The communists fought the British not to free Malaya but to conquer Malaya.   While the British ruled with civilization, the communists ruled like savages and were as merciless as the Japanese.

The communists had a chance to rule Malaya for 14 days when the Japanese lost the WWII.  And that 14 days was a living hell that no one who had gone through it would ever forget.

In the 14 days, the communist (PKM), through MPAJA (Malayan People Anti Japanese Army) conquered the cities, police stations and government offices.   MPAJA introduced taxes on heads, assets and land.  MPAJA executed anybody who had worked with the Japanese during the Japanese occupation.  They captured and tortured the Malays whom they suspected to have served the Japanese.   They killed the Chinese who refused to work with them.  They robbed off the people of their belongings.

Among recorded events:
-          In Batu Pahat, a Village Head was killed for suspected of working with the Japanese.
-          A District Officer was killed in a negotiation with PKM
-          PKM buried a religious chief alive for afraid that he would lead a rebel
-          In Jelebu, mosques and suraus were violated.
-          PKM burned the houses in Kg Bakor and Sg. Manik
-          Police station in Bukit Kepong was burned down with the police and their families in it.

In other words, the inhumane communists made the British looked like saviours.
This part of history, this 14 days of hell, makes any attempt to honour communists as heroes, ridiculous.

Therefore, if some people are concerned over the feelings of the grandchildren of the communists when Tanda Putera was made, imagine the feelings of the grandchildren of those who were tortured and killed by the communists when The New Village got the approval to be screened.

Bear in mind that one film is based on history, which is essential for learning, while the other one is based on manipulated facts.  One would boost the people patriotism and one would only contribute to the already ‘hostile’ environment in the country.

Doesn’t this give all the obvious reasons for Tanda Putera to be screened for all to see, and The New Village to be banned?   Should there really need to be any more debates?

IGP: Police identifying masterminds behind firearms smuggling

The police are in the midst of identifying a "certain group of people" behind the smuggling of firearms into the country.
This follows the seizure of a large cache of firearms in the country over the past two weeks.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the police viewed the matter seriously, especially the recent spate of shooting cases.

"In this regard, intelligence is being stepped up while security has been tightened at smuggling haunts," he told reporters after a media conference on the 2013 Warriors' Day celebration here Monday.

"We are closing in on a certain group of people. We are doing that right now. We are also identifying people who are responsible in bringing in guns into the country," he said.
Khalid said the police did not rule out the possibility of the firearms coming from a neighbouring country.

In KOTA BARU, the police detained three men in connection with the seizure of two pistols and eight sharp weapons Monday night, in three raids here and Pasir Mas.
Kelantan police deputy chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim said in the first raid at 11pm, a 29-year-old suspect was picked up at a petrol station in Jalan Baung, Pengkalan Chepa here.

"Upon questioning, the police seized a samurai sword, two machetes and a foldable knife hidden in a bag behind the driver's seat of a car," he said at a media conference here Monday.
He said the suspect led the police to another man, aged 21, in Kampung Baung, Pengkalan Chepa where a pistol loaded with five bullets, machete and a knife were seized.

In a separate case in Pasir Mas, Mazlan said the police nabbed a 49-year-old man at foodstall and seized an imitation gun and an empty magazine.

In KUANTAN, three men linked to robbery and drug trafficking cases were nabbed at a restaurant last Saturday, in Pekan Sri Jaya near Maran.

In the incident, the police seized a .38 Smith & Wesson pistol loaded with four bullets, while another bullet was found in the front passenger seat of a car.
Pahang police chief Datuk Sharifuddin Ab Ghani said in the 12.05am raid, the police also found RM2,000 in the vehicle.

"One of the suspects tried to put up a struggle when approached by the police. However, they were overpowered and taken into custody," he told reporters here today.
Later, a suspect led the police to the seizure of three fake guns in a bedroom of a house in Kampung Sri Jaya, Maran.

Scorpene: Jasbir’s Statement Proofs SUARAM Is A Living Dead

And now, out of ego, perhaps, SUARAM is determine to continue lying even when they don’t know what they are lying about anymore.  Malaysians, in general, already know the truth and don’t pay much attention to SUARAM.  However, there are few who got carried away with the negative perceptions towards the government and continue ‘buying’ the lies, even ‘donate’ for the cause.   SUARAM made sure that they do so, by organizing dinners, talks and even ‘buka puasa’ events calling for the people to actually give money for them to continue lying.

We believe the donation will then be used to continue paying them to ‘manage the lies’, including paying the foreign lawyers, their travelling, lodging, entertainments and miscellaneous expenses.   Their job is to keep on telling the people that Altantuya was the interpreter in the submarine transactions and that she had an affair with either Razak Baginda or Dato’ Seri Najib Razak.

Apart from that, they have to keep telling tales about how the company, DCNS, Thales and Perimekar somehow ditch some money right into Dato’ Seri Najib’s pocket.  And from there, they need to go on saying that the French court has already opened a case file and that few people are going to be subpoenaed.

Never mind that the French court has made a statement that there was never a case in the first place as SUARAM’s complains were found to be baseless.  Never mind that the French police confirmed that the late Altantuya had never entered France at the time the business took place.  Never mind that the DCNS officers had laughed off the idea of having an interpreter since all transactions are done in English.  And never mind that Perimekar’s audit report has proven that there were no fishy transactions in between and no money ever gone out of place.

All SUARAM needs to do is to keep the lie alive so that it can continue organizing events and call for donation.  The donation is the only means to justify the money they spent and is going to continue spending.

To put an end to the lies, the very person who were directly involved in the transaction, Jasbir Singh Chahl agreed that his statement be taken and published.  The New Straits Times had his story last Sunday.

Jasbir confirmed that there was never a puzzle to be solved in the purchase of scorpenes.  There was never an issue and that SUARAM is breathing on lies.   SUARAM would be dead if it stopped lying.  And as for now, nobody buys their lies anymore, except themselves.

Man Behind Scorpene Deal Scuppers Suaram’s Campaign of Misinformation

The man behind the Scorpene submarine deal, Jasbir Singh Chahl, has finally told the story of the purchase and leaves Pakatan Rakyat and its sensationalist friends at Suaram with nowhere to hide.

He has told the New Straits Times that the 115 million euro sum which Suaram had portrayed as a corrupt payment was in fact the fully-accounted management fee paid to Perimekar Sdn Bhd. That sum was to cover logistics and training of the officers and men of the Royal Malaysian Navy's Submarine Force, who would be in charge of the technologically-advanced Scorpene fleet.

"The Scorpene was the best non-nuclear powered-submarine that we, as a nation, could have selected," he said of the lengthy selection process. But he added he was angry at having been sucked into the political point-scoring that has surrounded the issue.

"We've been made out to look like profiteers who just sat back and collected when, in fact, there was a lot of hard, tangible work, that was done," said Jasbir.

And he has further debunked the allegation that murdered Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu was part of the negotiation team active in the discussions in France.

"I am willing to swear on my holy book, Guru Granth Sahib, that I did not know this person, that she was never part of the team, had never met her, that she was never in France during the entire time we were there trying to close the deal," he said.

This is supported by official French documents that state Altantuya didn't enter France at any time between 1999 and 2006, the year she died. There was also no requirement for her translation skills as all meetings were conducted in English.

This should by rights be the end of the Scorpene issue and Suaram's disreputable attempts to score points from it on behalf of Pakatan Rakyat. And it isn't the first time the facts have contradicted Suaram's claims. Last year the NGO was caught out portraying inquiries into the Scorpene deal in France as a "trial". When this was shown to be totally false Suaram engaged in some unedifying backtracking.

"Suaram has no control on how (the) media are reporting this matter," said Suaram board member Cynthia Gabriel at the time.

Suaram does however have control over its membership, which as The Choice has reported is essentially so many Opposition politicians and Opposition-aligned media personalities. Gabriel herself, of course, has benefited from political appointment by the PKR government of Selangor.

Jasbir's account has been seized upon by Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, who attacked Suaram's tactics.

"The other side is busy putting up a show, so they are now collecting funds to hire lawyers for the case in France. For me, they can continue to solicit funds to enrich the lawyers, and the people should be careful not to be cheated in this issue," he said.

Jasbir has finally broken his silence because he has had enough of being portrayed as at best, a "profiteer" and at worst corrupt. His account of the Scorpene deal is a warning of just how easy it is to politicise large procurement projects when the sums involved are large and there are long-running commercially-sensitive confidential negotiations involved.

It's also a warning about the lengths to which Suaram – and by extension Pakatan Rakyat – will go to sensationalise an issue.
