Penang’s investment dwindle as investors do not trust DAP.

Penang was once one of the highest invested state particularly investment in the industry sector. Sadly, after five years being under DAP’s ruling, the numbers of investors gradually dwindle.

In the year 2010, the investment in Penang recorded RM 12.24 billion and in 2011 it falls down to RM 9.11 billion. Finally in the year 2012 the numbers of investment reduced to a mere 2.47 billion, a 73% reduction was recorded. Instead being at the helm of the investment ranks, Penang scored 6th place in the overall state investment in Malaysia.

Like adding salt in an open wound the Bosch Solar Energy Company cancelled their intention to continue to invest in the state, the investment would be worth RM 2.2 billion. A few other companies was said to have retracted any investment from Penang.

With the poor performance of the investment environment of Penang, Lim Guan Eng are too arrogant and loves to scrutinise the Barisan Nasional government. It is ironic for DAP to attack BN on such accusation as they were the one who failed the people of their state.

What more interesting is that the DAP that is popular with its racist stands also practise racism to attract their investments. According to Batu Uban BN Representative, Mr Goh Kheng Sneah, the Penang government are only interested in investors from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Korea because all of the countries stated have “Chinese roots” in them. Previously during the BN led Penang, the investment were from America, Japan, Germany and also The Netherlands.

This proves that Lim Guan Eng is not a leader who has a global attitude and can work with international investors. Lim Guan Eng also has problems dealing with investors, ministers and ambassador from other countries. To enhance their stature in global investment a Chief Minister has to play a big part in establishing relationship with other nations.

Other than that the investment delegation must have charisma and skills to promote the investors in the media in the respected state, so that we can have the media on our side especially the respected newspapers or magazine.

Looking at how the DAP is regulating its mega project presentation like the underground tunnel with its typos and their CEC’s controversy that consist of not more than 2,000 votes, we now understand why the investment in Penang is dwindling.

DAP especially, Lim Guan Eng, the Chief Minister of Penang, do not have the charisma or ability to convince the investor to invest in his own state. Other than that, his reputation and image as a cruel gangster style dictator and compulsive liar is spreading like wild fire, are truly effecting the perception of investor to invest in Penang.

Other than tourism, Penang relies on investment from local and international companies to keep the state afloat. However, Lim Guan Eng seems not worried for what has happened. He even “celebrates” his retain in power with silly project such as the floating “Ubah Bird”.

In the early days of his reign, Lim Guan Eng is busy provoking Muslims while strengthening the Christian movement in this country. He also busy attacking UMNO and playing on racial issues.

Now, Guan Eng’s racist behaviour, no responsibility and gangsters like attitude are bringing a very bad impression towards Penang. With his reputation, Guan Eng is a bad example of a party secretary and his weakness as the Chief Minister, DAP should have a second thought on his place in the party.

Just because he is Lim Kit Siang’s son that does not means that we should just ignore all the bad things that he is doing to Penang. Is it true there are no other individuals capable enough to lead Penang rather than Guan Eng or even the Party Secretary for that matter?
