Anwar, Azmin must go: Zaid

Memo to call off party elections to be submitted Tuesday

PETALING JAYA: PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and vice-president Azmin Ali must go, says Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, who pulled out of the party's deputy presidential race Monday.
He said Anwar and Azmin were the ones that caused problems in the party.
"They must go," he told a press conference here Tuesday, adding that Pakatan Rakyat needed a new leadership.
When asked who would be the right party president, he replied: "I will be a good leader."
He said the current PKR elections were in shambles.
Meanwhile, party vice-president Mustaffa Kamil Ayub said he has prepared a memorandum to call off party elections within 48 hours.
He said he would summit the memorandum to the party president Tuesday.
"If the party elections are not called off within 48 hours, we will take further action," Mustaffa said.
