PKR MP Lambasts Fellow Members

KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Bernama) -- An opposition Member of Parliament Monday lambasted fellow opposition MPs who he said were capable of slander, libel and practising dirty politics.
Wee Choo Keong (PKR-Wangsa Maju) said a small group of "little Napoleons" in the party were willing to do whatever to slander and disgrace national leaders.
"These actions (by the little Napoleons) have been acknowledged but no action has been taken, but rather disciplinary action had been taken against other leaders based on trifling points.
"If these little Napoleons are capable of such dirty tactics like using fake photos to undermine others, there is nothing to prevent them from destroying this country," he said in the Dewan Rakyat today while debating on the motion of thanks on the speech by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
"Little Napoleons", he said, was the reference for those who have some power but act way and above their position.
Wee wanted this group to cease their "dirty political activities and libel over the Internet" to achieve their narrow political interests that placed their self-interests above the interests of the people.
"If this is allowed to continue, our party will be destroyed, our struggles will be in vain and the two-party system will be a dream," he said.
Wee voiced regret about the actions of the "little Napoleons" in relation to the Sept 16 incident and other issues in and out Parliament
"I hope these 'little Napoleons' do not force me to expose them," he said.
Wee also expressed regret about those who questioned about him being picked as an MP to be part of a working vist team to Washington.
"If my being chosen is a matter of contention, then Pakatan Rakyat (PR) needs to have a new policy that PR MPs cannot be a part of all foreign trips with ministers, Speakers and government MPs," he said.
