KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) -- Member of Parliament for Hulu Selangor Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin Ahmad died at 9.27 pm on Thursday's night at his house in Batu 9 1/2, Jalan Cheras, Kajang because of brain cancer.Younger brother Md. Hambali Ahmad when called confirmed his death.
Zainal Abidin, 71, was the former Selangor Deputy Menteri Besar and a PKR MP.
With his seat now vacant, the country will see its 10th by-election since the 12th General Election on March 8, 2008.

If najib wants back the seat to BN, he must never make the mistake by choosing mic candidate for hulu selangor. The sentiment there is majority of malay will not give vote to mic for the time being...

according to a website, there's rumours that K Parthiban might be the candidate.K Parthiban defeated khalid ibrahim at ijok before.
