Still 'Power Greedy' Factions Within Kedah PAS

PADANG SERAI, March 17 (Bernama) -- Kedah Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah observed that there were still 'power greedy' groups who wanted to take over the state administration despite having been reappointed to the executive committee recently.
"Kedahans can observe and judge for themselves the two factions who have supposedly made peace and are working together."
"But the fact is they're still fighting and waiting for the chance to remove the Menteri Besar," he told reporters after a meet the people session in Kampung Pagar Musih near here, last night.
Commenting on the Menteri Besar's intention to go on leave, Bashah said it would be advisable to appoint someone from the exco in an acting capacity if it was for more than a month.
More than 3,000 residents attended the Umno Padang Serai event where about 500 students, senior citizens, orphans and disabled people received aid.

tunku : there is no doubt that there's infighting among pas leaders in kedah though they had denied it in media.we can see few pro pakatan bloggers demanding for azizan to resign in their entries. pakatan in kedah are in weak position now. will it help bn to recapture kedah? it will provided kedah bn stand solidly united.bn leaders should put party interest as top priority and insyaallah they will recapture back kedah.
