Khalid says reports asking him to step down mere speculation

KUALA SELANGOR: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Friday said the report claiming that 15 Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) want him to give up his post was merely a speculation.
"I have not received anything from the group concerned, so it can be merely a speculation," he told reporters after presenting land titles to residents in Kampung Sungai Yu, here.
A media report stated that all the PKR MPs wanted Abdul Khalid to withdraw and relinquish his post as the Selangor Mentri Besar.
It is learnt that the same group would submit their proposal to the PKR leadership at a gathering of the party in Shah Alam during the weekend.
Asked for his reaction if he were to get the letter from the group caling for his withdrawal, Abdul Khalid said: "I will acept the letter and read it". - Bernama
