KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was accepting of the drop in his approval rating as suggested by an opinion poll conducted by the Merdeka Centre recently."Nevermind-lah. That's the fate of politicians. Up and down. What's important is what you do before you leave," he said after a meeting with Wanita Umno leaders at the Putra World Trade Centre here on Monday.
The independent research centre polled 1,030 Malaysians from July 4-16 to gauge voters' perception of current issues, the state of the economy and the leadership.
The survey found that Abdullah's popularity had plunged to below 50% for the first time in his premiership, from a record high of 91% in late 2004 after he won his first term as Prime Minister.

whether we like it,what he says is right.what's important is what you do before you leave.he sure knows that many people hate his guts but still he keeps doing his routine as usual.it's usual for politician to be hated or loved.

it reminds me of the environment campaign. the advert where a guy throw garbage into the drain and another guy shouting at him. He replied "Tak Apalah, nanti ada orang lain kutip"

Yup. Its usual for politicians nor leaders to be loved or hated for their deeds. At least he still have the courage to continue his responsibilities and jobs for the country.
A well good leaders would not consider popularity a must in his leadership, zainal mokhtar. It does not concern with his stupid act like you justified him.
